I guess there’s two sides. I hate that DPI can bail out bad throws, but at the same time, a defender shouldn’t be able to tackle a dude to save a likely 6 yd TD and only get 15 yards

I’m getting to the point where I feel like a team’s strategy should be to throw money at FA safeties rather than spending premium picks on them.

A good safety is rare and more valuable than commonly thought. But it’s incredibly difficult to project how a safety’s transition to the NFL.
