A friend of mine's son is on the Univ of Georgia track team, so I've been keeping up with their progress, including the UGA and former Texas High School sprinter-star Matthew Boling.
Well, this past week he made some track world history by completing this trifecta
In the world history of Track and Field, among thousands (millions?) of athletes,
only TWO track stars have ever accomplished this trifecta
The only other?
You may have guessed it, the all-time great........
Carl Lewis...who is at another level altogether

Well, this past week he made some track world history by completing this trifecta
- Broke the 10 second barrier in the 100 meters (10.98)
- Broke the 20 second barrier in the 200 meters (19.97)......to go with what he did earlier
- Topped 8 meters in the long-jump (8.25 meters)
In the world history of Track and Field, among thousands (millions?) of athletes,
only TWO track stars have ever accomplished this trifecta
The only other?
