BOOMER!
i believe we still need to address DT even if McCoy can play. MCCoy and Gallimore at one pair and Hill and new guy at another..Gerald McCoy might have missed the season with injury, but he was still involved.

DLine is Quinn specialty, bring McCoy back first as a player then let Quinn groom him as a DLine coach.
I wonder how much Leon helped as well.Gerald McCoy might have missed the season with injury, but he was still involved.

How to fix the DT position:
Gallimore showed real glimpses this year.. give him a offseason to get stronger and add a non complicated Quinn 4-3 front.. the arrow is pointing up for this young man
Some still want to bury Tristen Hill, but he was starting to show what he could do in his Sophomore season before his injury. Year 3 will be big for him and the Cowboys.
Resign veteran McCoy to be a solid player and mentor the young guys. The Cowboys and McCoy seem to have a hand-shake deal in place. He may not be the ProBowler he once was, but he brings more to the DT room and won’t be a detriment on or off the field. Make it happen.
Draft the best DT available in the 2nd or 3rd Rd. I keep hearing this DT draft class is weak.. maybe, but there’s always a diamond in the rough. Moving back to the Cover 3 4-3 defense should make it easier to find a formidable DT in the middle rounds. Think Brandon Mebane of Seattle’s past (3rd rd).
Sign another low cost veteran DT. Although I don’t hate Antwaun Woods, it’s time to move on. Apparently there’s going to be a ton of FA Defensive Lineman this year due to Salary dumps. A decent upgrade should be available to atleast compete for a roster spot. May the best man win.
This should answer your question.......a player claimed and released by this many teams IN ONE MONTH, has some issues.
