Gerald Sensabaugh plans to play vs. Giants

X-rays were negative on SS Gerald Sensabaugh's ribs. He expects to play in next Sunday night's NFC East showdown against the Giants.

Sensabaugh didn't return to the game after a third-quarter collision with Tampa Bay WR Michael Clayton. Sensabaugh was in so much pain that he had to kneel down at least twice during his walk from the Cowboys' sideline to the locker room.

"It's nothing serious," Sensabaugh said. "At the time, it was a real sharp pain, and I had trouble breathing and walking. I should be fine for next week's big game."

Hope he can play against the Giants!

He's a huge upgrade over Watkins, and would be badly missed by a defense still searching for an identity this season.

Glad to hear that but I think he will be experiencing some pain in the rib area for a while. Bruised ribs do not go away quickly. I would expect he will need to wear some extra padding in that area

I have no doubts about our defense this year.

We had nothing to gameplan for, and didnt need to call anything exotic anyway.

We're unleashing the hounds next week, book it.

As well as RW31. He looked great. I'm very excited to see what else he can do.

I've got some doubts. You don't gameplan tackling. Which was done poorly.

We came out blitzing when we all knew they were gonna run. They knew it. We knew it. Yet Wade was wanting to get to the QB early? Confused me.

Solid point on the tackling.

But we're playing the Giants, the most hated team by all of our players.

We will come out focused, tackle well, and get to the QB.

The Giants dont scare me at all. Load 8 in the box, press their WR's and get to Manning.

I seem to remember everyone saying he was basically Roy Williams except he can tackle. I saw a upgrade over Roy yesterday. Yea he blocked the field goal which was great but i'm not referring to that. He was everywhere. That's what I like to see from a safety. I didn't think we would ever get that without going to the draft for it.

The 2007 Playoff game featuring the Toomer TD tackling fiasco comes to mind here. Fortunately the starring players (Ellis & Roy31) play elsewhere. I think Henry may have been the CB in coverage.

Next weeks game however will be far, far from easy. Some serious talent on that team and their passing game isn't as week as some might think.

That said, we are the Cowboys.

That drive along with the injury shouldn't have even happened.

That INT was legit, the illegal contact call a few plays back was BS.
