Finding two safeties you mean. No guarantees on Church coming off Achilles injury. Maybe Matt Johnson will be healthy this year, but no doubt safety HAS to be a target either in free agency or fairly early in the draft.

Ed Reed or Ronde Barber if he is a free agent...could help install the system while playing safety.

I'm assuming the team is counting on the combo of Johnson/Church to fill one of the starting safety positions. We have enough holes to fill along the OL & DL, as well as a back-up RB.

Tj Mcdonald out of USCb has played under Kiffin and knows his defense. 6' 2 215. Second round pick in my opinion.

No McDonald won't even be close to a 2nd, possibly a 4th.

They may feel good about Matt Johnson but there is no way they'll trust him yet. They'll add another S. This is probably the one FA signing we make or at least the first of a couple.

I agree. The only positions we have without a starting body are safety and strongside linebacker.

I think we'll be looking for fairly cheap FA options to fill those needs, vets Kiffin/Marinelli are comfortable with.

Ronde Barber would work with his experience with Kiffin. Charles Woodson and Ed Reed would be good veteran leaders and mentors. We could draft a young safety to sit behind one of the 3 mentioned above. I don't think we take Vacarro in the 1st. Probably draft a safety in the 2nd or 3rd.

Dont mind sensy being gone but we need at least 3 -4 new safeties now. Church has the achillies and it sucks but itll probably never be the same. Matt johnson wont play a down this year either. Better to have nobody out there then mcray.
