Get Aggressive

I am not saying to just move up to 40 and see who falls. I am talking about jumping a team like Miami who you know may be targeting Dallas Goeddart or going to if Hernandez is doesn't go at 49 to move up and get him.

Yeah. I agree. We have picks to navigate with as long as we don’t bundle them all up. Small moves up or down make sense from here on out.

In a heart beat. The players available early in the 2nd round are more than worth it in my opinion.

2 4ths won't do it. If you want to move near the top of the 2nd round, it's going to cost you your 3rd rounder.

Dallas' two 4th round picks would get them up to 40th on the value chart, roughly 100 point difference. Not saying that it would be enough to get it done, as you need 2 to tango, but the points work out.

Seems like most of the experts agree that after those first 20 picks or so that the next 100 to 120 guys are all about the same and all worthy of starting. To me that says I keep these next 4 picks and make them.

sir being that it's a football forum it's BE AGGRESSIVE B-E AGRESSIVE!!!!!

I agree we should target quality players.

If that's the case, definitely. Even in an average year, the odds of getting a starter from (2) 3rd round picks is greater than with a single 2nd rounder - or (2) 4th round picks over a single 3rd rounder. Plus there's at least a possibility - even if extremely slim - of getting 2 starters from the 2 later picks.

I’ll be surprised if we don’t make multiple trades tonight

I want to see more picks added to rounds 2 and 3. After running the draft simulator on fanspeak a few times there's a lot of meat there.
