Fans and even some media, look at the so-called mistake of the refs of overturning that play. I heard someone tell me the replay showed a "shadow", the ball never touch the ground??? Of course, that 1 play turned the game around....in the Boys favor, we'll never know, highly doubt that though. But to claim that and the bogus pass interference that led to the 1st score was the reason the Birds loss is abit much. I guess if you wear green colored glasses it would appear the ball was caught legit!!!

:bang2:

The PI call wasn't bogus, but it bothered me all the same. That was a great throw and would have been a TD anyway. I'd rather it be done that way than affording an excuse no matter how lame.

49ers fans thought this. They also thought the PI on TC was bogus. One of my best friends is a 9ers fan, and he told me we always get all the calls. I then asked him if we get all the calls, why are we one of the most penalized teams?

Seeming the ball was the same color of the man that tried to catch it it is very dubious of them to neglect that perhaps any alleged shadow was the freaking player. The nose of the ball was clearly hugging the carpet and bounced off of it, a ball securely in grasp does not spring into the air two feet unless it has impacted an unwavering object and surface i.e the ground.

The replay not only showed the ball touching the ground. It was the reason the ball bounced back up in the air.

When the ball was influenced by the ground, not only moving but being knocked free, that is what constitutes it being trapped.

But frankly, even if they did get the ball and score a TD on the next play, Dallas would have still whipped their collective butts.

That "pick" would not prevent Dallas from covering receivers or knocking McBreakDance to the ground.

Hate can make you see what you want to see. Anyone not rooting for the Cowboys to lose saw the same thing as you and me.

When I 1st saw it I thought it hit the ground because I saw the ball bounce up and he brought it back it.

I don't mean to come off as arrogant but the outcome was going to be the same, even if the interception isn't overturned.

Agreed. A pic would have only made the final score more respectable for the Eagles.

I thought it hit the ground. Mostly because I saw it hit the ground on a friggin sixty yard long jumbotron!

The ball was the size of a bus. You couldn't help seeing it hit the ground.

Yup. the Eagles needed more than that interception to have a fighting chance in the game.

I'm glad that it's the other side having these discussions and not us for once.

Did your logic shake them to their senses or are they still living comfortably in The Twilight Zone?

Exactly, and if it bounced off his arm it would have further constituted no control or non-catch.

Forget about everything else.

When you are good, you get the breaks, the calls and luck is on your side.

We are NOW GOOD AGAIN!
