Get ready for Shanny?

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Mike Shanahan as the new coach of the Dallas Cowboys? I saw it coming when he was let go by Pat Bowlen and it just makes so much more sense as this coaching staff is being taken apart.

Brian Stewart toast was long overdue and guarantees a new DC, I think it will be Wade. Jason Garret is gone so no more Jerry's kid running this team. He's going to take some guys with him from the offense, it's inevitable.

So, we will have Shanny and Wade will be the DC. I'll put all my chips all in on this one and am so happy to do so. I want Shanny running this team so bad and it's going to happen in my opinion. What do you all think?

I would have liked Garrett to be our HC. I think he has a great football mind and just had an "off year"..but oh well..I will welcome Shanny with open arms

Not for $3 million a season would he get to be a DC. Wade can barely look them in the eyes right now. With a general like Shanny Wade would be much more effective. There is nothing to be ashamed of if he loves it here and enjoys the defense he has. Shanny gives his DC's full respect when handling the defense. Everyone knows Tomlin rides LeBeaus back but Shanny and Wade would be a team. Even Gruedn and Wade would be a team. But Shanny is the best thing other than Belichick when he has a defense and a coach who can get it going.

The only concern I have - if Wade is let go - is the Rooney Rule. I fully support it, but if Shanny is the guy, Jerry still has to go through the process. If he is finally hired, there will be all the rumors about the Cowboys just going through the motions.

You know what Shanny could do with Romo and this offense? Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal and the new flavor of the week at RB looked like assassins on offense down there. Remeber Shannon Sharpe in his prime? Rod Smith and Mcaffery with Terrell Davis? We even have more weapons for him than that.

There is enough hold over talent to make this acontender next year and enough room to chrun the roster also to add in his and the DC's personnel requests. It is time to get Shanny. Romo will meet his potential with Shanny and a running game. We'd be the monsters we're supposed to be. T.O's going no where and that's good also. Shanny can deal with him. Also all this threatening news will humble T.O.

Maybe I'm on the outside of this issue, but I honestly believe the Rooney Rule is offensive to black HC candidates. They may be under-represented in HC ranks, but for a "dog and pony show" to happen when teams clearly have a candidate in mind just demeans the talents that so many black candidates possess.

For crying out loud, we have a black President. We've come a LONG way as a nation - the Rooney Rule ought to be dumped.

Not eternally but long enough. You know what, the guy barely said squat to the media and he's still being blamed for tearing the team apart. Yet Romo on national TV shows him love and his teammates have been coming out all week endorsing the guy. Ed Werder doesn't have me sucked in and if this team wants to get rid of someone how bout they go get rid of a media puppet shlup like Barbie Carpenter.

He was stubborn over Garrett and that was the main reasoning along with the money keeping the staff together. Jerry is off the hook for Garretts salary and will hav flexibility with Shanny since Bowlen has to eat up to 7 big ones each of the next 3 years. Jerry said Wade, Garrett and Stewart were coming back. Well 2/3's is not happening and Wade just got room made to be DC. It's going to happen and we will all enjoy next season. :
