Thought you guys might enjoy this.

Frankly..

I think he will backup Romo right away.

And I think this has Garrett's fingerprints all over it.

I think he wants this type of QB for his starter.

Personally I think his days are numbered here and will have about as much positive impact as Stephen McGhee had on this team.

So the trainee head coach that has been stripped of playcalling duties likes Weeden?

Why am I not surprised.....................LOL

Sorry it didn't come up..don't know what happened.

Its on YouTube. Jon Gruden does a QB study on him when he was drafted. Enjoy.

All you need to know is he is a Bad QB who was foolishly picked by the Brownies...no need to wonder why that organization is a mess and we're not far behind

Why didn't you bring this up about the Browns when we hired Rob Ryan?

Sure would have saved us sore time.

Shhhhh..

I'm not convinced failing in Cleveland means you can't play but the fact that THEY drafted him might mean he cant.

Weeden is a low risk pick up if Scott Linehan can get him to reach his potetial then we may end up with a pretty good QB if not this deal is low cost and Dallas can walk away from it at anytime.

Unless Romo gets hurt and he pulls a Tom Brady,,, there is nothing to this. A warm bodied QB is all.

If Cleveland wouldn't have taken him someone else would have in the first two rounds. He was graded that high. He was thrown to the wolves in Cleveland. He's a cowboy now and I hope he can be a capable backup.

Exactly.

and just the type of guy they want as a backup.

inexpensive..has the tangibles and needs more time in a good system.

Not to mention he is going to get a shot at replacing Orton as the backup.

Now..do we pursue a QB in the draft, too..?

Not really.

This maybe a situation tailor made for us..
