Next year if we make it to the Divisional round with the bye week. Pick up Romo as QB for the last 3 games and win the title. Don’t @ me

Is this face palm because of the assumption that we may get to the divisional round again?

You know what it’s based on. Or at least I would hope so. Surely you understand the absurdity of suggesting Romo would be capable of playing, or even willing to play, once the Cowboys got into the 2019 playoffs after having only played 2 full games in 2015, and portions of 3 others over 2015 and 2016, and then not only not playing, but not even practicing for all of 2017, 2018 and 2019 up to that point.

"There are legitimate contract offers and there are, 'Hey, what are you thinking?' Romo said when asked about the last time he was contacted about playing again. "There was something earlier this season and definitely two times this offseason. Usually, it is a coach that reaches out." TR (the truth)

As absurd as Peyton Manning winning the super bowl in similar fashion?

lol - surely you jest. The situations aren’t remotely similar. When Manning went into the playoffs with Denver and won the Super Bowl in 2015 he had played every single game the previous 3 seasons, and even though he missed some games that season with injuries, he still played most games and obviously practiced with the team throughout the season. The situation you are talking about with Romo would be having him start cold in the playoffs after not having played or even practiced with the team for 3 straight seasons, and barely seeing the field for the 2 seasons before that.

My happy thoughts about Tony’s return vs you

Well, if we get to the divisional round again and with a bye, which I predict we will. That will have meant Dak had a beautiful season, along with everyone else. So we will not need Romo. And I love Romo!

I assume this was from last offseason since we haven't reached the offseason for this year yet. The further removed from the game he gets, the tougher it would be to come back.

I wouldn't have been surprised during his first year retired for him to come out of the booth. I would have been surprised this past season, and I'd be absolutely stunned if he did it this year.

So romo who wasn’t even good enough to win a divisional playoff game is suddenly good enough to win a Super Bowl?:lmao2::laugh::lmao2:

Tony was a upper mid tier quarterback on the level closer to Andy Dalton than elites like Brady and Mahomes.

Difference in Dak and romo is Dak is good enough to go toe to toe, stat for stat, and drive for drive with elites.

It’s why he’s outplayed every Good or elite quarterback he’s ever faced except Wilson.

In Head to head matchups he has better stats than:

Rodgers
Brees
Wentz
Goff
