Can Romo save the season? He is the only person on this team that can lead us to the payoffs. Our defense sure in hell isnt going to do it. Our coaching staff sure in hell isnt going to outcoach anybody. And our running game is not going to do it. it's up to romo to make this offense roll and outscore teams.

We need to pretty much win out from here on out...I think the smart bet would be to start packing the bags now. all We can do now is just hope and pray for a miracle.

5-2 isn't unrealistic at all. Problem is, that gets you 10-6. Cowboys should take it one game at a time but i'd really throw it all out there. I'd really try to look at 11-5 as where this team needs to be to get into the postseason no problem. But remember that every other team has to play games as well. Every team won't win out.

Exactly, all they've been doing so far is reversing the last five years. Now they just have to make good on November and December. We still have to go into Philly, Washington and Pittsburgh. If we go 1-2 in those games and beat the Ravens (and we've already proven we can beat defensive teams in low-scoring battles) and the Giants, which Romo's proven he can do time and again, the road to 10-6 is paved. And I see that as a worst case. We might actually go 2-1 in those road games.

But anything is possible. We usually have December meltdowns, but maybe these past few weeks let our team grow up. Every game from now on is a playoff intensity game, and should be treated as such.
