Yeah, because it totally makes sense to hold a player to account for getting drafted earlier than you thought he should be.

Stick it to him!

When people see him driving Barry Cofield and Linval Joseph out of the hole and turning him as they run behind him then I think maybe the derptrenchesderp groupthink crowd will turn around.

The only guys with power like him were Fluker, Cooper and Worford. This guy pancakes more DT in a game than Warmack does in a season.

I understand why people are dumping on the pick, I personally thought it was hilarious, but go watch some video on the guy at guard. He's a player. All the people that didn't want a guard at 18, 31 is a pretty good place to get one and remember the bust rate on guards is extremely low. It's a pretty safe and solid pick in a draft we can't afford to miss on.

I'm not a fan of the pick only because they could have waited for him. With that being said, my name is Frederick so i will be buying his jersey.

All the people thinking we could have gotten him in the second, please see Kyle Long and Pugh and how early they went. I do not think he would have lasted until 47.

This is very true.

As for his jersey. I'll pass.

It would have been a complete roll of the dice if we waited until 47.

That doesn't make him good value at 31 though. You can pretty much excuse any reach with that kind of thinking.

I dont dispute he was a reach at 31, but the way this draft fell several teams did the exact same thing. I am happy that the Giants reached for Pugh because I think he is a bust in waiting.

I mean, he was a reach. But I still feel good about it.

Feel like it's like getting a Max Unger-type at 31. Well, he was a second rounder too, but if he turns into that quality player, I'll be happy.

It's different than reaching on a complete project like Robert Brewster.
