Getting emails when one replies to a thread

How do I stop the emails from coming in when someone responds to a thread? I already see the notification when I sign in but I don't need emails coming to my email as well.. That's a little bit overkill...

I’ve shut that off endless times. I still get emails

I shut it off and already got 6 emails afterwards.

I did that already and like I said, I got 6 (now 8 because someone just replied to another thread that I commented on) since unchecking those boxes.

I wonder if I log off then log back on whether that would work. I already unchecked those boxes.

That said, turning off the email alerts works for new threads, but not threads you are already watching. Once you are watching a thread, it's going to keep watching it as the email flag is set when you first post in a thread.

To unWATCH a thread, click on the Watched Threads link at the top of the page below the blue menu bar, then click the "Manage Watched Threads" drop down at the top right of the thread list.

You can disable "emails" only and still get in-site alerts (recommended) or you can disable all watched threads.
