gentlemen--no one feels worse than me...through marble table settings through the wall and tv...i dont take

loss well...i understand i need to grow up..but hey..i am only 60..anyway if there is any good news is this:

we are getting Lee and Awuzie and Hitchens and Irving back...a good chance all 4 for the Green bay game.

this is a big shot in the arm going forward for our "D"....and our offense sputtered second half but was

rolling 1st half...that is on the coaches and they know it...so we aint going to lay down for the dumb

packers

I don't know why everyone is so afraid of the Packers, personally I'm guessing it's just the name that instills fear in a lot of Cowboys fans. Who have they played this season that makes them so special?

Big bad Cincinatti who has won a whopping one game and it took them OT to do it?

Seattle who they beat by barely a TD and who has won two games, one against the Luckless Colts and the other barely beating the 49'ers?

Oh, I know, it must be the fact that they beat the Bears who have another impressive one win and look like garbage.

And they lost to Atlanta.

GB is one OT away from having the same record as us. The doom, gloom and fear around here after a loss is truly unbelievable. One win, we're going to the Super Bowl, one loss and we mine as well hang it up. This is coming from myself, the almost always eternal pessimist, get a grip people.

Getting healthy and getting irving is gonna help
Keeping zeke will also help but who knows there
Getting the oline to gel will also help. Changing two players sure hasn't been an easy transition so far

I heard the same thing before the Rams game.

Who did they beat? Colts and 49ers.

They dismantled the Colts and even without beating us I think they have looked more impressive and complete than GB. McCarthy sucks as a HC. I hate to break it to everyone but I believe the comeback that almost happened last year was more due to McCarthy's lack of coaching and play calling than it was due to anything the Cowboys did. He got very complacent and took his foot off the gas in the 2nd half and almost gave us the game by getting away from what worked for them in the first half. The Rams have better coaching.

Will it matter?. Rodgers will slice through our antiquated defense. I bet the old man will continue to rush 3 on 3rd and long.

I get your point, but Heath was the only one in the secondary who played well against Rodgers in their last outing.

It could get ugly, or it could be closer than expected. Weird start to the NFL this year week to week.

Good point; I actually forgot about that. That game was likely the reason we felt okay with him as the starter this year.

Aaron Rodgers vs. this defense. That is all I'm afraid of. If he's on, they could score 70.

My thing is, if the Rams can score 35 on us, Green Bay could probably score 70. Our offense hasn't kept the defense off the field as much as last year, and that makes it worse.

I am just waiting for that breakthrough game, and this is as good a time as any.

I know I'm in the minority and although I don't think the offensive play calling is top caliber I definitely don't think it's as bad as some make it out to be. We had our chances yesterday. If Dez or Twill caught those balls we very well could be 3-1. Obviously Dak needs to be a little more consistent with his accuracy and the O line needs to do better but this team is far from being some no talent, no caoching disaster that some of you make it seem. Every team has its issues and ours aren't as bad as many others.

Why would we not be afraid of QB that is absolutely capable to carving up this secondary?

Why? Because Green Bay as a team is no comparison to the Rams. Their D is weak and they have no run game. We will have a much easier time with Green Bay than the Rams.

That...I will agree with but I also think we can get back to doing what we did last year to win games, control the clock and keep him off the field. Their D isn't all that, especially against rushing.

Rodgers is 10x's the QB that Goff is right now. GB may not have a run game, but why should that bother the Packers? After all, that just means that they are going to be throwing even more against this pathetic secondary.
