Getting Tyler Smith pre-draft vibes with Steve Avila these days

Avila would be an outstanding pick, even at 26.

He can play LG, C, and RG so he has tons of position flex.

He is also one of the best pass blockers in college football and TCU was not exactly playing scrubs every week, he went against some really good talented players and held his own.

Now his run blocking could use some work, but it is more of a technique issue than anything else and should be correctable with NFL coaching.

IF one of the top TE's are not available that would be my way to go as well.

There are no DTs that will be available to us at that point worth a first; and honestly I don't think any WRs in this draft are worth a first.
DE is going to get thin very fast. Armstrong, Fowler are both FA's in 2024, and Lawrence has a big cap hit that year. Dont sleep on a DE

Tyler Smith was my favorite player in the entire draft last year.

This year Steve Avila is my favorite interior OLineman in the draft.
Love to see us get Avila. We need to pound the rock and he can help finish the OL off. Then go DT in the 2nd round if there are any quality picks left.
