Because it was confirmed this morning that no matter how bad he plays he will never be blamed for it. So if the owner wont put any pressure on him and force him to perform at a high level then whats the point of getting upset? Especially since he will be around for 4 more years. Dak hasnt done that much since his last extension and gets another one so its no need to be upset anymore because Jerry loves him. So its a waste of emotion

It's always been a waste of emotion. There was never anything that any of us could have done either way.
Go Cowboys!

Unrealistic as a team's fan or in understanding of sport.

This contract puts a target on Dak’s back from opposing teams because most players on other teams think he’s overrated. It’s not going to get easier for him.

But Dak doesn’t care now that he’s got his money. Like Jerry, it’s always been about his ego and the money.

Well, as always with Jerry….Prescott is paid very well, so he should be able to do more than he is capable of.

That’s Jerry’s logic. Let’s see it work like maybe once.

For the last few months Jerry actually had cowboy fans believing that just getting to the playoffs wasn't enough. Well that didn't last long. At least we know how it ends. The same way it always ends. And cowboys fans couldn't be happier. It says a lot. Please don't talk about super bowls anymore. You've Lost that right. I was actually kind of excited to see what next year might bring. Unfortunately now I already know what year next year will bring. The same thing it always brings. I'm just glad that we're finally showing our true colors. It doesn't matter what we do in the playoffs. It only matters how much the players get paid. That's probably all that cowboy fans will have to celebrate for quite some time unfortunately. Next time we lose a game or lose in the playoffs look on the bright side at least we can talk about daks contract. That's all we have left.

Then go ahead and stay away until they meet your bias...

Last season, Prescott set career highs in completions (410) and touchdowns (36), throwing for 4,516 yards with only nine interceptions. He led Dallas to a 12-5 record.

Dallas lost to Green Bay.

All players/teams have bad games. Even at the top. How many Buffalo Lombardis are running around?
How many teams have not even sniffed a Championship game this century besides the Boys?
the jethro minions are so predictable

Welcome to reality. Yes, our emotions over this team are completely pointless. It has always been that way though.

I guess the only thing left I can say is that I hope that I'm wrong. But then again I've been saying that for the last 9 years. But I guess we can at least celebrate the contract. I'm not sure if they give parades for that or not.

It's never easy and Dak knows he has more to prove. And he will. Not giving up. Never will. Go Cowboys!!!
