I have come to a point where I know this team will not win anything significant.
Im 47 and If i die of age.. lets say i get to live to 80+ i am almost certain i wont see this team win anything significant ever agaiin
You and me and countless long timers.
NOW WE wont haveany significant money to sign any one , Parsons will be traded or franchised and will hold out.

Because it was confirmed this morning that no matter how bad he plays he will never be blamed for it. So if the owner wont put any pressure on him and force him to perform at a high level then whats the point of getting upset? Especially since he will be around for 4 more years. Dak hasnt done that much since his last extension and gets another one so its no need to be upset anymore because Jerry loves him. So its a waste of emotion
He was blamed for the entire Green Bay collapse...No one else. HIM. Fans blamed him, Owners blamed him, no teammate fell on the sword...

This contract puts a target on Dak’s back from opposing teams because most players on other teams think he’s overrated. It’s not going to get easier for him.

But Dak doesn’t care now that he’s got his money. Like Jerry, it’s always been about his ego and the money.
In a recent player's poll, Josh Allen was voted most overrated followed by Hurts and Tua, Herbert, Lawrence, Watson, Murray and Purdy

There wasn't ONE player that played well in that game but Dak is paid to be a force multiplier and lead by example. The example he showed SUCKED. No way the team could play any other way when your QB looks like that. Obviously it was embarrassing for everyone.

For the last few months Jerry actually had cowboy fans believing that just getting to the playoffs wasn't enough. Well that didn't last long. At least we know how it ends. The same way it always ends. And cowboys fans couldn't be happier. It says a lot. Please don't talk about super bowls anymore. You've Lost that right. I was actually kind of excited to see what next year might bring. Unfortunately now I already know what year next year will bring. The same thing it always brings. I'm just glad that we're finally showing our true colors. It doesn't matter what we do in the playoffs. It only matters how much the players get paid. That's probably all that cowboy fans will have to celebrate for quite some time unfortunately. Next time we lose a game or lose in the playoffs look on the bright side at least we can talk about daks contract. That's all we have left.
Only the dumb one's believe JJ...lol

Then explain why the stans only credit Dak for wins?
Not sure anyone is actually doing that. The better Dak plays the better the Cowboys do of course. But some games are more predicated on the defenses ability to do their job. It's also not rare for special teams to play a huge factor in the outcome of a football game. Dak can only do what he can do.

You’re right it‘s not worth it, on the contrary I’ll be happy from now on and coming here to mock his stans every chance I get will make me feel even better. They’re the ones who wanted that mess, now let us have fun while you get what you deserve for the next 5 years.

This has to be some of the silliest stuff I have read. Are you that out of touch with NFL players? They are a fraternity. They all want each other to get paid. It is the exact opposite. Dak held out and wanted as much as the front office would pay him. He didn't fold quickly. He is setting the bar even higher for his peers to go get their payday. You think they are actually going to go out there and try harder to make a statement to him because he got paid?

Any animosity players have over their contracts is to the front office, not to their peers. Players and coaches stay out of contract talks. They know the business side and stay in their own lane. They have agents who are handling that aspect. If players have animosity to each other, it isn't because they are getting paid less or feel someone is paid too much. Fans are the ones who discuss and make a huge deal of these contracts and scream everyone is overrated and overpaid. Players want each other to get every single penny they can from these greedy owners. NFLPA loves these Dak contracts, too.

Uhhh…way to conflate the idea that players want to collectively maximize their salary with their belief that an individual player is actually worth a particular salary.

The haters will continue to blame him and bellyache about him. We got four more years of listening to the BS from the haters. I’m just hoping that Dak’s extension will get some of them to leave.

Mahomes was voted best? Lamar was voted second best QB in the NFL, Burrow third.. 291, 124, 51…. Not sure how the points were ranked in regards to amount or votes..

Only 103 players voted..

Purdy was rated over-rated by 6 players, but was also led the category of most under-rated with 14 votes.. that’s an 8 vote difference.. he was tied with Stafford as most under-rated at 14 votes..

It might be a waste of emotion, but it's not inaccurate.

Jerry has set me free! I no longer care what happens to the Cowboys. They have proven that they no longer are the franchise that I grew up loving. They are something else, and they do not possess the qualities that make me want to cheer for them.
I AM NO LONGER A FAN OF THE DALLAS COWBOYS!!!

I think Jerry knew that he would anger a lot of fans by extending Dak and by waiting until the last minute before the season began he hoped to minimize the fans criticisms in such a way as to do as little damage as possible.
I hope they lose every game.
Obviously I won't be here in the forum much, if at all, after this post.

You really hate winning games beyond the regular season, don't you.

That’s not according to me, that’s according to you. I’ve never put the entire blame on everyone else. He shares some of it, but not all of it. That’s always been my argument.
