This has to be some of the silliest stuff I have read. Are you that out of touch with NFL players? They are a fraternity. They all want each other to get paid. It is the exact opposite. Dak held out and wanted as much as the front office would pay him. He didn't fold quickly. He is setting the bar even higher for his peers to go get their payday. You think they are actually going to go out there and try harder to make a statement to him because he got paid?
Any animosity players have over their contracts is to the front office, not to their peers. Players and coaches stay out of contract talks. They know the business side and stay in their own lane. They have agents who are handling that aspect. If players have animosity to each other, it isn't because they are getting paid less or feel someone is paid too much. Fans are the ones who discuss and make a huge deal of these contracts and scream everyone is overrated and overpaid. Players want each other to get every single penny they can from these greedy owners. NFLPA loves these Dak contracts, too.
