Dave Gettlemen set that franchise back 5 years with some of his drafts and contracts. Jones is a tough decision, he played better but it’s tough to really judge his ceiling when he has no one to throw to. Looking back I bet they wish they exercised the 5th year.

They can offer him something comparable to stay a year. It's not like any other team is going to throw 40M a year at him. But maybe Jones don't want to stay with the Giants.
