Giants & Jets thread

Jim. You're an NFL GM and both guys are Free Agents at the same cost.

Who are you taking? If you say Cruz you are Bill Bidwell or Mike Brown.

LOL...If I take either one, I'm Bidwell or Brown.

Like I said, two adequate to good WR's...but not spectacular.

HOS, I can't even believe that we are talking about their WR's.....I consider them just two adequate to good WR's.

That's it. :)

Neither spectacular.
I don't. Nicks is one of the best WRs in the NFL. He has been double teamed for 2 years. Hell we double him like crazy.

I posted that in the other thread. That was the TD of the year.

That was spectacular...

Nicks is one of the best WR in the league - "adequate to good?" - no way.

The way this season has gone it would just not be complete if the Giants did not win today.

OK...fine with me. :) Then we just get beat by Jacobs....like last time.

Yes. The roller coaster must continue down to the very end. Our nerves must be ragged and shot to their very limit.

This game shows me how BAD QB Sanchez is...

Unless Jets defense causes TOs and scores some points, Giants win this...

10-7, so depressing. At least the Jets get the ball back to start the half.

Nicks is the best WR in the NFC East right now.

The Giants have a lot of young talent at WR.

I think the Giants are the better team - but honestly - they both are pretty average.

or if the jets defense take, or catch the balls thrown right to them the jets could be winning.

Lets not forget victor cruz made a great play for them to score otherwise this score could be 3-7 right now. The jets defenders keep things tight eli will throw a pick (they just have to catch it).

Someone on that Giant team has a voodoo doll. I don't watch every Giant game but I swear when I do, every improbable catch goes their way. Every Eli prayer is caught, every fumble bounces right to them. The ball bounces straight back to them, etc.

Was it the Giants we played a few years back and the ball bounced off Witten's foot into the Giants hands or was that the Eagles?

They took the Packer approach and drafted a good WR every year it seemed.

I wish we did the same with defensive backs.

Yep...which is why I like deferring to the second half myself....if you get the ball first in the 2nd half and you had the ball and score last in the first half, that is a 6 to 14 point swing.

Yup. 33-31, inaugural game at Cowboys Stadium. Giants intercepted it off of Witten's foot. They get almost all the lucky breaks.

Would love to see the Jets take the opening kickoff right down the field and get a TD to set the tone for the rest of the game.

Living in NY I watch every Giants game, and you pretty much hit the nail on the head.

Yes. They need their confidence back after being blasted by that 99-yard score and the missed Folk FG. Otherwise they'll just be playing to hope to win instead of playing to win.
