My commiserations to all Dallas fans -- dayam I liked the way you looked. Didn't care who won -- at least I thought I didn't. Either you guys are rubbing off on me or it's because I live in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, I'm not sure yet. But I do know that I didn't like the gatorade celebration Gibbs show afterward! I know it was a Huge game, and it kind of reminded me of the Falcons post-game celebration -- in-your-face type "we beat you," thing. But in the Falcons case they were at home -- the Skins flaunted in "your house" which makes it just as bad if not worse. Anyway, if it wasn't just the 2nd game of the regular season, you'd have thought it was a Superbowl win for the Skins -- and I didn't like that!

But you know what? Aside from the Giants (I'm not too sure about them -- especially with Plaxico and their running game), I think we are the best two teams in the NFC-East.

Some people say a loss by one-point is the say as a loss by 41-points -- I say that's bull poop! The one-point loss means it could have gone either way -- which either says a lot about the resiliency of the Skins or a lot about what you guys may have to do to tweak the defense. But the bottom line seems to be scoring more points to give yourselves a buffer toward the end of the game -- the Skins stayed around ...too close for comfort and striking distance.

Earlier, in other posts, I thought the 49ers would be so disgruntled at the loss to us, that they would take it out on you. But I withdraw that claim now. I think you guys are ready to smack these 49er boys down. You'll be back. Still plenty of time to get back on the top -- see you there. Now allow me the opportunity to go barf for saying all that.;)

I find any fan who celebrate one win like it's the Superbowl to be obnoxious punks.

And I never thought I would ever see an Eagles fan show the Cowboys support. And compassion.

Of course you do.

And PT- I personally wouldnt expect any of the teams in the NFC East to lose to the 49ers.

SaT,

I know you're a quality Skins fan, so I mean you no disrespect. But you Know the Skins side line celebrated a little to much for a "tweak-out" victory that could have gone either way.

Wait! ...Now I get your point about the 49ers, and you could be right. But the 9ers did beat a strong Rams teams in their opener. And I don't care what team you are, ...43 - 3 is kickin-gas!

One more thing SaT, I wouldn't go putting the cart before the horse on that 49ers game with the Skins -- they may just beat you by "1" point!

The Giants will lose to them. That's what they do. Lose to losers.

the rams are a strange team, they could beat the best team in the NFL then get raped by the worst, just because martz isn't the brightest coach in the NFL.. from everything i've read, it seems as if dallas is fired up about the skins loss and can't wait to play the niners... they got embarressed on MNF, that's just not cool! i expect to see some hard hits, lots of points, and a cowboys victory :D

and phoenix talon, it's a little of both, living in skins country and the fact that you're beginning to like the cowboys ;)

For the life of me, I can't understand how the Niners won that game... look at the stats sheet, you'll see what I mean... the Rams ran 89 plays, the Niners 41... the Rams had 405 yards of total offense, the Niners 217... the Rams even won the turnover battle, 2-1...

If I read a stats sheet with those kind of numbers and did not know the score of the game, I'd figure that the Rams won by at least 14...

silverbear, the thing is those stats are deceptive, same as the Commanders stats on MNF this week.

The 9ers had a ST TD in the middle of the 2Q which put the score at 14-6. were up 28-9 with over 11 minutes left in the 3Q.

The Rams were forced to throw the ball nearly the entire second half.

Yeah I hear your point. The Rams should've won if you crunch the numbers like you did, but that just goes to show you what numbers that truly count when the time runs out.

I guess the Only numbers that matter at this Point are the ones your team intends to put up on the scoreboard!

Good hunting.
