Just wishing… whatever benefits we get from a 100% healthy OT probably taken away as he learns the offense all year… although he is a smart vet with experience in multiple systems. Time to do something like that though was probably offseason. Jerry decided Tyron was worth it at a reduced salary and that he was striking a bargain signing the recovering Steele. He made the bed, have to live with it now.
If I were the Cowboys and trading for any position on that field that I was afraid might have depth issues, there are other positions that will be in bad shape, but Steele has yet to show he is fully healthy, Tyron is Tyron, and Edoga has been getting hurt all year. Just as Dak and CeeDee are finding their rhythm, don’t let it go to waste because we thought it was fun to gamble with the most important pass protection position on the field!
