The jig is up, Wade. No matter how hard you sell the idea that Terrell Owens' status is up in the air Sunday, you won't find buyers in Giants Land.
And it's not just the players shooting off at the mouth, as the New York Daily News reports.
"He will play," Tom Coughlin said. "There is no doubt in my mind he will play."
Plaxico Burress, who has been tough as nails in fighting through this season, had some receiver-to-receiver advice for T.O.: Don't play. But the Giants really aren't getting their hopes up on that one.
"T.O.'s the type of guy, if they allowed him, he would probably go out there with a crutch in his hand," Giants DE Justin Tuck said. "There was a question how effective he was going to be in that Super Bowl and he answered that question, too. I'm expecting him to be 100 percent."

I think you would have to be living in a hole to think TO would not play.

i guess some people on here are doing just that

I don't care what they say, they don't know for sure and therefore a little part of them doesn't know if they have to prepare for something else. Let's keep them guessing.

I think they expect TO but they are not going to be is disarray if TO does not show, hell they are hoping he will not play.

John Clayton took the bait. He went as far as to say that Owens is "doubtful" for the game on NFL Live last night.

Why would Owens not be practicing if the injury wasn't serious?

This is the playoffs. There is no next week if we lose. Wade isn't going to try to "trick the Giants" with this crap when the downside is not allowing Romo and Owens to get back in the groove via practice.

Ultimately, no way Owens sits this out. But I think his injury could very well be serious enough to impact his ability/level of play.

Who really cares if they know? what they know?

They knew the first two times. Not an issue on them knowing or not knowing in my eyes.

I remember in 1999 that Stephen Davis had the same injury and it took so freaking long for him to recover. We got him back in the playoffs but he wasn't quite the same.

Those high ankle sprains are a tough deal. It is typically easier to return from broken bones than sprains and tears. But he is a phenominal athlete so maybe he can pull it off.
