Bring on the season!

I am not surprised they tool Williams witht eh zone blocking scheme he is a better fit than Okung. It is not like omg they drafted him their he was expected to go in that range

The only stupid thing they did was waste picks on McFlab

From one of the posters on ES.

"He should fit in with the criminals",
Someone should ask him what criminals he is referring to.

I'm sure the Giants are very happy. Their fans are the ones who are not happy. But, we've seen this before with an over reaction from the fans to players that Reese has drafted. And in the end, Reese was dead on.

Having said that, I don't know enough about this guy to have an opinion on the pick. This is a pick that is going to be judged over the long term. This season will not be an accurate account of what this guy is going to be. He needs time to develop. If he does, Giant fans are wrong again. If he doesn't, it will be revisited and who could have been drafted will be looked back on.

As far as the Dez Bryant pick, I'm sure there is one Cowboy player not happy with that pick. Roy Williams is going to doubt what his role on the team will be.

And having said that, Bryant will definitely upgrade the Cowboy offense fairly quickly. There will be a learning curve with him so I think it will take a few weeks but he will be an impact player for them.

I'm just wondering what this means for Roy Williams like a lot of Giant fans wondered what JPP meant for Osi U. Osi won't be traded according to Reese and I guess we will have to wait and see what happens with Roy W when Bryant becomes a full part of the Cowboys' offense.

Didn't roy say somewhere he would be thrilled if we got bryant? I'm pretty sure everyone in Giant land wanted Rolando Mcclain

The Giants got a very good prospect. I'm not sure why their fans would be disappointed with that selection.

The Commanders picked a potentially great Olineman, but also one who seems to have more uncertainty than Okung. I guess that Shanahan thought Williams was a better fit.

Truth is, all 3 of our NFCE foes may have picked very good players tonight. At the same time, the Cowboys may have picked a more talented player than any of them. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Bryant turns out the best of the 4 players. It also wouldn't surprise me if he were the biggest flop of the 4.

Actually, Spiller was becoming more popular as the draft approached. And now that the Raiders go McClain, the thinking may be that the Giants may try to get Morrison from Oakland. Not sure if that is the answer. I'd rather go with the guys the Giants have in Goff, Kehl, or Wilkinson and see if one of them can fill that void.

The guy you guys got is an athletic freak. He's pretty darn fast for a guy his size as well. I don't know if he'll turn out to be great or anything but the kid is very athletic.

He could turn out to be a really good pick since the Raiders screwed you guys out of having a shot at McClain.

My favorite post at Extremeskins was the dude that said, "Great, we have to go get Flozell Adams now" after he just heard Shanny and Danny took OT Trent Williams.

Priceless!:lmao2:

i was worried about the Giants getting McClain or Thomas.....they got neither....in fact, I am very pleased that both players will be residing outside the NFC East, since the Boys couldnt get em.
