It's not an either/or fallacy. It's a likely/not likely proposition.
It is more likely that if you're a single tackler trying to strip the ball, the ball carrier ends up gaining more yards than getting the strip.
However, if you have a gang of tacklers, it works better if you have one tackler trying to strip the ball.

Wrong, your argument is an either or logical fallacy.

You can both tackle while going for the strip.

If you fail to tackle and only go for the strip then your point is valid.

However, you can make the tackle and go for the strip and it happens in the NFL all the time.

I am bored with discussion, there is no point.
