so why against the cowboys Cutler adjusted to short drops, but against the Giants, Cutler keeps on going on 7-step drops?

If Ball wasn't the starting safety and he hadn't given up two big plays in a row off blitzes, Wade might not have let up.

I wouldn't trust Ball either.

Alan Ball is EXACTLY the same player as the guy he replaced at FS. Invisible vs the pass, and a liability vs the run.

You are the only person in humanity that doesnt see it, except for maybe Hamlin's mother.

Keep telling yourself that.

If the Bears playbook includes the wildcat or some derivation thereof, they might want to consider employing it at this juncture.

That TD was on Brooking not Ball.

It was on both of them. It's been explained so I won't hijack this thread. Ball screwed up too.

Struggling qbs must love to play us. We get themreally nice numbers

Wade is by nature an aggressive defensive coach, but sometimes he coaches weird. Like when we faced a young Aaron Rodgers, Wade had us play a lot of zone coverage and backed off on the blitzes, hoping that he would be lulled into a sense of security, leading to a dumb throw. He carved us up.

Just like Matt Shaub, and Donvan MCnabb righT?

They weren't struggling. We'd shut down Brees and Manning but Alex Smith would light us up. :laugh2:

9 sacks of cutler and 2 turnovers....

yet it's 3-0 at half

I'm not sure whether this looks worse on the Bears or the Giants.

None of the teams in the NFC are playing very well right now. If Dallas can get its act together they have a shot to make a run.
