I believe Sanders or Ward could be trouble.

They have Nabers and Tracy and solid OL.
You are correct. We will soon be dead last in the division even when healthy. Jerry will still wonder what's going on and 3 players will consume 120 mill to 130mill and 1of the 3 being straight garbage and not mobile. Good time comin!

This isn't a football decision, this is a money decision since it has to do with a guaranteed 20 mil injury settlement in his contract if he's injured prior to the end of the season....

I think it's both. Protect themselves form an injury settlement, and improve draft position for the next QB possibly.

It’s a money decision that many pointed to a month ago. If they keep playing Jones and he is injured, they will be on the hook for injury guaranteed salary which would prevent them from trading or releasing him after the season. They are simply protecting themselves now that it’s clear they are eliminated. Being tethered to an injured Jones for another season would also hurt signing a new coach. This decision allows them to get out of Jones’s contract without much consequence.

I've watched the Giants the last few games and there's no downside in starting Devito over Jones.

That's how Giants fans felt a couple of years ago....what a bunch of idiots! Right??
They have as many playoff wins as the Cowboys do since Jones was drafted.

One team wants better than a loser QB. The other team makes the loser QB the highest paid player ever.

You Dak fans are getting and will continue to get exactly what you deserve from this team.

sWe need to tank hard man... secure the #1 and force a trade down to the Giants, Saints or Titans.
Thanksgiving will be the "big" game. Probably a toss-up, I'd go slight lean to NYG. The team will completely check out after that week.

The only wild card is a decision to start Lance at QB at some point, and he provides some unforeseen magic in the final month making the team more competitive.
