I honestly don’t think any team has to watch tape on Rush……put pressure on a young inexperienced quarterback and wait for good things…….you won’t see me fluffing Mr. Rush with 2 career starts

I honestly don't consider Rush a young QB....inexperienced in the NFL but has had a lot of time in the same offense. I think he makes smart reads, goes through the progressions, limits the risk. His physical ability is what keeps him from being a potential starter....teams will play him more and more where they try to control the middle of the field and make him throw outside the hashes, which is not his strength. To an extent you can beat it with great anticipation on your throws, but that one pass that hangs gets taken back for 6.

The best thing is for the defense to play with the same heat on Jones, putting him under pressure all game. The offense needs to stay with the run and trying forcing the will upon the Giants till they wilt and let Rush take his shots at his discretion.

agree that his chronological age isn’t young but the 2 career starts makes him a toddler in the NFL. If he had the physical gifts and skill of a Josh Allen I would feel a lot more confident.

Of course if we had a Josh Allen we’d be on the way to the SB…..

One thing is true, he doesn't seem to get rattled. For the most part he gets rid of the ball fast too.
