Giants DC: Our defense will be tough and violent Sunday night

Well, I expect their defense to be tough and violent. John is that kind of coach. I think they will give our pass game some trouble because the have some really good pass rushers and because of the "weakened" state of the O-line.
Dallas will need to control the game on the ground, up the middle especially. Dak will need to be quick and smart with the football. The offense will need to be multiple and unexpected to keep their pass rushers at bay.
And TBH, I don't think their offense will be able to do much against our new defense. I don not fear their running game or their WRs, cept for maybe Nabers. I don't think they will be able to run the ball very well and I think Dart is going to have the interior of his line in his lap all game. I think our new secondary scheme could have a field day picking him off.

Adrenaline, starting to flow, it’s football
I do push-ups at halftime, so the team can suck up my energy
Lol
Yes, we have violent loving, defensive tackles , finally men on the front line

Who cares about all the talk. Get on the field and do something. When the game is over we will all know who was better that night. Then move on because there will be 16 other games to play.

It sounds like the Giants are making this their super bowl and that could backfire in a bad way.

The New York Giants' defense is planning for change this upcoming season, with a focus on being faster, more aggressive and violent. "But hopefully [it will be] fast, aggressive, you'll see some violence from us and ultimately guys making plays"

Who said the above? Why it was of course the Giants new DC...cough cough Shane Bowen 2 years ago. The Giants gave up 415 points that year and we swept them. Meh...

New defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson knows the #Giants will face a tough test vs. the Cowboys. He views Dak Prescott as a "top quarterback in the National Football League." He sees both CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens as "elite receivers."

But the Giants defense is going to be unapologetic in how they play. They intend to be tough and violent.

We'll see! I've always had an admiration for coaches like Harbaugh that are committed to the fundamentals of a stout defense and a stout OL. I think that's because our team has become untethered from that foundational approach for the past 30yrs. What good is a top 10 offense when your defense blows? What's the point of having a pair of elite #1 receivers when your QB has exactly 1.5 seconds before he has to start running for his life? The frustration of it all is enough to make the Pope kick in a stained glass window.

Wow, the Giants want their defense to play tough and violent.

Not like the rest of the NFL, which preaches soft and timid play to their defenses.

I love how he called CeeDee and Pickens 'elite' but referred to Dak as just a 'top' QB.

That's going to piss off a few of Dak's fan club members
Definitely not as bad as you and the other anti-Dak Cult members here will be if Dak lights it up and leads us to a win on Sunday.

OORAH! *salutes*

Man, and here I thought their secondary was their biggest weakness, followed by the 3-4 DL. The only thing about their defense that seems scary to me is their linebackers/pass rushers, especially since offensive tackle is our weak point on the line.
As it should be. We should smoke their secondary, most of their starters werebench warmers last year. I think the only chance they have from stopping our passing game is getting pressure on Dak quickly which they may be able to do.

Our tackles are lackluster and the Giants do have a pass rush to be somewhat concerned about.
