Giants DC: Our defense will be tough and violent Sunday night

Both of these defenses are going to be looking to set the tone. Our offense needs to match that intensity and that's one of the reasons why I do like Pickens. He ain't playing around

Offensive
They were quite a bit better than ours last year and they added the top OL player in the draft this year (yet to be proven). Their center sucks, LG is ok, LT is All Pro when healthy, RT is above average, RG to be determined.

NY freaking out about Harbaugh being the new HC like they will make some noise this season. I certainly didn't see any tears in the Ravens players when he got the boot. That's the NY media for you! Then you have this Dback saying he likes their chances against CD & Pickens + Flournoy and others and on top of that you have the human Sloth Face Skattebo saying he will punish Dallas Defense. DC should just forfit the game....lol. I'm so ready to see a butt woopin put on the Gmen. Go Cowboys!!!!!

I love how he called CeeDee and Pickens 'elite' but referred to Dak as just a 'top' QB.

That's going to piss off a few of Dak's fan club members
"Just a top QB" sounds more like a Dak hater trying to manufacture something that isn't there than some hidden insult

Our line was significantly better than theirs last year. Are you serious?

Not even close.

That's why they passed on Downs for a lineman. They're desperate for offensive linemen, which they've been screwing up for a decade.

Predicting a close game that's gonna come down to a few things, like Dart making some inexperienced Drake Maye like decisions.

Could really go either way
I think it will be Dak making the inexperienced decisions late game. Dart gets the Win. CowboyZone will crumble. What a joyous Sunday evening.

Yeah, all this chirping sounds like they are trying to convince themselves that they have a chance. Should like a llack of confidence to me.

I’m concerned about this game.

Week one games are always ripe for weird stuff happening and this one is on the road.

Yeah, we have owned the Giants and our offense is the best of the six units taking the field, but I think Harbaugh has the giants players believing

I hope it’s just opening week overthinking.

As it should be. We should smoke their secondary, most of their starters werebench warmers last year. I think the only chance they have from stopping our passing game is getting pressure on Dak quickly which they may be able to do.

Our tackles are lackluster and the Giants do have a pass rush to be somewhat concerned about.
Yeah, I hate that their strength lines up with our weakness. It will be a question of whether our receivers can get open quickly enough for us to get the ball out before their outside rushers get there. On the interior, depending on the play of Bass, we should be able to give Dak a pocket to step up into on his throws, although I do expect them to blitz Reese up the middle quite a bit.

A Dallas o-line not at full strength, a Dallas secondary a little suspect (DBs), Cowboys LBs suspect too against what is sure to be a physical game (Harbaugh is going to run and stay committed to it with Skat), and the Cowboys defensive ends will have to play BIG and hold their ground against a lot of off tackle runs.

Couple this with the Cowboys offense often getting off to slow starts, especially on the road, and I'm thinking this is going to be a lower-scoring, nail-biter, requiring the Cowboys to make some critical plays in the 4th quarter to win.

I am very curious to see how new DC, Parker, loads up to stop the run on early downs. And the other key matchup will be their new TE, Isaiah Likely, against this revamped secondary. Caleb will have his hands full...and will have to be careful of the downfield play action throws to Likely (so he'll have to choose wisely when he can sell out on the run). I don't know if any of the other safeties can control Likely.

This game is going to be a physical battle at the LOS...so both the o-line and d-lines better be ready (and the Dallas LBs can't get lost in the mix).
