Nope. Don't think they will beat Miami, but I don't think it matters. Whether they win the division or not, they are going to have to go to SF, and Miami doesn't change that game one bit. Neither did Buffalo, neither did Philly.

Does it matter if they win? If they win, are they then immediate Super Bowl contenders?
Every game influences the season, some more than others. You're full of crap.

Lol. Ok chief.

The standings matter, yes. In the scenario in which Dallas loses to Miami and Philly loses to NYG, the loss does not matter. It's just math.

Momentum, confidence, learning what works and what doesn't. It's all invaluable. Make no mistake a win on the road against a good Miami team would only increase our odds.

Nothing fake about it.

(chuckling to self) They have their own crosses to carry. I'm not carrying it for them. The Cowboys are responsible for their own on the field product and are capable of standing on their own from here on out! :starspin:

I mean I don’t know if you edited the post but it made sense. The goal is for Philly to lose one more game. They have 3 chances to.
I think the part people are missing is that even if we lose. As long as Philly loses, we still have a 68% chance to win division and we control our destiny.

If we win and Philly loses. All we would need to do is beat Washington. Detroit would not even matter.

You are right, losing breeds losing, winning breeds winning whether the game is important or not at this point.

How they play matters more than the result, IMO.

But it sure would go a long way to have a solid road victory

I think beating Miami on the road is very important.
Yes. This is the Championship Game between the two teams that have
put up fraudulent records by defeating some of the worst teams this year.
Damn right, it's important...lol

Joking aside, they need to prove they can win on the road if they have any
hope of getting past Baker's Bucs in the first round playoff.

Yea going into the playoffs on a winning streak isn't that important at all.
Well it not really. In 2007 the giants lost three of their last four including the last game to the patriots. Went on to win the Super Bowl. Colts won after losing 3 of the last four games of the season after they had started 12-0. So there you go

Yes teams that limp into the playoffs don't often do well.

I can't see NY winning in Philly. I think it comes down to the final week - Eagles at Giants, Cowboys at Commanders. Which team slips up on the road?

The Colts were truly stumbling when they won it all.

But the 07 Giants were better than their 10-6 record. Unfortunately for them, they went against 13-3 GB, 13-3 DAL (twice), and the 16-0 Patriots in the regular season.

That roster was stacked, and IIRC, they won 5 games in which Eli posted a Passer Rating under 60.

They are a historically underrated team.
