Think it was an overpay, considering they have to sign him for 25 million per season and he is risky due to mental concerns.I think the Eagles got a one year deal with Brown who hasn't payed a full season the last two years and who is going to want to get paid.
Didn't they trade up from pick 30 or something? They will always be the Lions.
When you're 3-13 you are absolutely not drafting for this year. (I mean, you should never be drafting for this year, but certainly not when you're rebuilding).I was stunned the Lions gambled on a major injury wide receiver in Jameson Williams . True Goff needs targets but it doesn’t look like he will be ready to start the season . Your 3-13-1 you need help opening day and going forward.
The Giants got 2 guys who were in the conversation for #1 overall. They couldn't have played the situation any better.
And I'm not sure how the AJ Brown situation will play out, but flipping Carson Wentz for AJ Brown is some awesome GM'ing by Howie Roseman.

Eagles went from one of the worst skill situations a year ago to now the best in the NFCE with Brown, Smith and Goedert. If Hurts is even just average, they can probably score a lot of points given they also have a very good OL.
UnfortunatelyA massive tackle to shore up the OLine and perhaps the best edge in the draft . And Jordan Davis and a legit receiver in AJ Brown going to Philly . Not a bad night for the completion in the East .
