Plain to see they're openly disgusted with their state of affairs. I'm a bit surprised a few of them are actually expressing their admiration for us. I really anticipated seeing a far more unbridled hate pattern that that.

They will always point to the 2 rings. And I don't blame them. He may not be that great but he did what he had to do to get his team 2 rings and let the fans enjoy. That gave him and Coughlin a lot of wiggle room for these subpar seasons the last 3 years.

I have a Giants friend that will never speak bad about Eli no matter what because of those 2 SBs. And I really don't blame him.

As a resident cowboys fan over there, I can tell you that they're usually pretty reasonable.

Unless they're winning. Then a lot of their reasonable posters become overconfident and dismissive of just about any other team.

But their will has been broken in most cases.

After a 3 game win streak most felt like they were the best team in the NFL. Then the Philly game happened. Then they believed they were closer to beating us than they really were and still didn't show much respect. Then they continued to detract from Dallas until they got rolled up by Seattle and realized that we pushed that same team around like rag dolls.

Now they just flat out have no faith in the team and are somewhat envious of how Dallas has built such a dominant OL.

I enjoy how they share my absolute disdain for the Eagles. I also enjoy how, unless I missed it, not a single person there even mentioned Washington as a division rival - it was all Dallas and Philly.

I just get a kick out of the idea that Washington and fans are sitting in DC stewing and hating Dallas or NYG while everyone else just forgets about them.

This Cowboy team is a lot like the teams they have had, offensively, in the recent past. Good OL play with a run based offense. Timely QB play. Field Position Football with an emphasis on TOP. Their Defense has probably been a little better but yeah, we basically play a style of Football that their team has traditionally believed in. I can see why they look at us and like (hate) what they see.

I watched the Giants for many years and wished we were more like them. I can completely understand it.

Not to defend them, but so am I. Draft junkies do that whether your teams sucks or is killing it.

I believe that was it. We also seem to thrive playing them in their stadium since Romo has been there I think he's won almost every time and the year Romo(the 2nd time with Kitna) was hurt we still won there.

Dallas has beaten them 3 in a row and 4 of the last 5, so they are right in not being too arrogant for a change.

Looks like they still have a couple of Romo bashers saying he always blows it and will again. Now that is real selective memory seeing that he almost always plays really well vs them.
At least it's a rival saying that junk. Much more acceptable than when some of our own go there.
