A 'non-New York' take on the Giants game:

...The refs do just enough to turn the tide in favor of the NYG (added to the stupid play calling of the NFL's #1 offense with 1st and goal at the 3 yard line AND the WORST tackling job of any team in any game this season) and you have just enough to 'earn' the NYG a win in their NINTH home game.

Examples of curious (biased) calls in favor of New York-
BS penalties:

2nd qtr:
(8:15) T.Green pass to S.Parker to NYG 26 for 17 yards (B.Alexander).
PENALTY on KC-S.Parker, Taunting, 15 yards, enforced between downs.
a very weak ticki-tack penalty stalled a fifty plus yard KC drive - deep in NYG territory
4th qtr:
(14:45) E.Manning pass to T.Barber to NYG 31 for 2 yards (D.Johnson).
PENALTY on KC-P.Surtain, Unnecessary Roughness, 15 yards, enforced at NYG 31.
Sickening... 'Late hit' on a still standing/running Tiki Barber who was not down by any stretch and was well in bounds... (as bad as the tackling was all day, the refs give the NYG 15 yards because KC tackles a still-standing Tiki Barber in bounds AND a 1st down to keep this drive going) which leads to the BS call (below) and another TD that would otherwise have not occurred.
BS call:

4th qtr:
(13:04) E.Manning pass to A.Toomer for 31 yards, TOUCHDOWN. Play Challenged by KC and Upheld. (Timeout #1 by KC at 12:52.)
Watch NFL Network Official Review on Wednesday and this will be ANOTHER Touchdown that the NFL should not have GIVEN to the NYG (remember Shockey's 'catch' in Seattle - NFL Network's Official Review agreed that was another gift for the Giants).

Bottomline: Giants are not as good as they 'appeared' yesterday.

I just dont wanna go there... we haven't taken care of business so far - we could be in better position and we are not... I aint concerned with playcalling in Giants game.

They come away with the "W" - we gots to do the same

Are you a closet skins fan? Gibbs couldn't have complained about the refs any better.

j/k

That was the worst show of tackling that I've seen in the NFL in a long, long time.

Between the refs and KCs NFL Video on how not to tackle at any football level...the Chiefs beat themselves more then the refs did.

I totally agree. I think it's pathetic that some are taking the postion that the refs handed the Giants the game.

It's also ridiculous that many simply won't admit to themselves that maybe........juuuuuust maybe, the Giants are a pretty good football team.

Enough. Bad calls go both ways. We've gotten out share of questionable calls as well. It evens out. If you took away every bad call and added every missed call you know where we'd be. Same exact place.

I actually thought the call against KG on barber was agood one, could have just touched him, but he was practically picked up by driving him backwards and then thrown down. stupid, stupid move by KC defender.

Vermiel's take was that it was the worst the Chiefs played all year. Of course, the Giants have something to do with that. They played well and, if they can beat the Skins next week, clearly deserve the division title. They've just played a little better and more consistently than us.

If the Cheifs can shore up their secondary, they will be tough next year.

BS. While those things may have an element of truth, the Chiefs sucked yesterday and the Giants showed up.

To be frank, I'd like to have another shot at them - even in the Medowlands.

No-Bottom line-the Gints took advantage of their opportunities this year and we didn't. That's why they're winning this beast div, and we're not.

Alot of these arguments were said about the Chicago White Sox-but everyone OVER-looked how GREAT this team really was.

I would have to agree. The Refs did a very poor job of calling a fair game, and true enough it lived up to the hype and the Giants were once again handed an Easy win.

Worst call of the game: Taunting-Wow terrible call.

Nah, 88, the only thing 'handed' the Jints that win was the KC aversion to wrapping up Tiki.

Either way, the refs do their very best job-and noone will be satisfied still.(i.e. the Jason Witten non-call didn't cost us in that Seattle game-it was the missed FG and playcalling that did us in)

My big gripe with the Gints is all the bias you see in the sports media about them. Alot of those ESPN analysts acted like they WON that Seattle game, and Skip Bayless said how they took the Iggles "lightly" last week.

We've reached a new low, worried about something Skippy said. Sad day indeed.

I guess we wont talk about that holding call on strahan that gave LJ a BS TD right? So instead of 27--17 it would of been 27-10. Now stop crying wolf. Even with both tackles gone and a new RG and pretty much a rookie lb core starting we played pretty well on defense, and solid on O. We had some bad calls against us. But i guess you missed them right? I guess having the future of the playoffs in your hands twice, once against the giants and now the skins and letting it get through, you need to blame someone right?

Oh and to start about ur bs calls. First one was a correct call. 2nd one on tiki a whistle blew and he hit him late, another correct call. The final one with toomer was an awesome play by toomer and all the replays showed his KNEE wasnt on the ground, his shin can be where ever the hell u want it to be because that doesnt matter its the KNEE, even the refs saw it. So against stop your belly aching gibbs.

God you are reminding me of gibbs and his followers, are you sure your not a closet skin fan?

Everyone in the right mind knows we beat seattle, but we didnt get the W. It was a shame Feely went in the slump that game. If it wasnt for 3 missed game winning fgs we had the game.

The giants dont get any credit. Only people that get face time is Strahan, and Shockey (even last year shockey had top numbers but ppl started to place him 7th-10th best TE), and Eli but its a mix of really good reviews and really bad. But people like Tiki dont get love, nor does Gibril, AP started to get some recogniction. You be suprised the giants dont get as much publicity as you might think, even from there own media.
