Giants injury news

Well it looks like the Giants will regain starters Osi Umenyiora and Brandon Short. As for the other injured starters:

1. Sam Madison- He probably won't suit up for another week or two. He missed two games after initially injuring his hamstring. Since he returned and hurt it again, I don't think he will rush a comeback.
2. Corey Webster- His status is uncertain right now and they won't have an idea of his situation until Wed. Not having Sam Madison doesn't hurt as much as missing Corey Webster.
3. Michael Strahan- He is supposted to return to practice this week but isn't expected to play. It would be sweet if he could play though. Supposivly once these injuries are healed, they feel fine and don't leave any lingering effects.

What a great week to be missing both of your starting corner backs! But the last two QBs the Giants faced were scramblers in Garrard and Young, so hopefully Romo and his mobility will be a break for the defense.

I don't care who the Giants put on the field. THE COWBOYS HAVE GOT TO WIN THIS GAME!!! And when they do, I don't want to hear any excuses about Giants' injuries. They wouldn't have any sympathy if Dallas was ailing.

I think that is about accurate but I am not sure they get both of their guys back. It will be very tough to play the cowboys without both of their starting corners. That got away with that against the titans but our receivers are simply to good and without a pass rush they will be force to cover those guys too long and ROMO will have a classic game.

What has been lost in all this discussion about the giant game is our defense against their offense. Eli doesnt have toomer and will be playing without thier starting left tackle.

I think this game, after all the hoopla, will be a blowout! I look for Julius to have a big game because the giants are not that good at run defense no latter what the stats say.
