The Giants have joined the Cowboys and another NFC East team in pursuit of former Cardinals T Leonard Davis.
We're surprised either the Eagles or Commanders are showing interest. The Giants are also "in the mix" for Tully Banta-Cain, but no visit has been scheduled.

me i think the giants are in it to try and drive up the price

Lets bump up the price to make the giants overpay- then drop interest and leave them holding the bag and the lazy, fat underacheiver (which means he should fit right in).

I agree. I don't get it with this guy? How often this far into a career do players all of a sudden change and become great or motivated?

He was a good lineman in his first few years at guard, he just struggles vs speed rushers. He is a mammoth, defensive lineman will NOT be pushing him 20 feet back into Romo like what was happening with Rivera.

Also, have you never seen someone who was in a bad program/team get traded and start playing much better in a new enviroment?

I wouldn't complain if we signed him, but wouldn't be upset if we didn't.

Same as usual the NFC-E is trying to drive our price up or snatch the players to keep us down. Happens every year. Usually by the E-girls in the draft though :)

supposedly it is a 3 hoarse race between the skins, cowboys and Giants, with dllas looking slightly ahead.

here is a post from someone on a cadinals message board with supposed ties to Davis' agent...take it for what it is worth...

"Spoke to Leonards agent just about 5 minutes ago. The huge OT has contract offers from Dallas, NY Giants and Commanders. As I'm told the Giants have the best offer but Davis is not thrilled about playing for Coughlin or in NY, the Skins have a fair deal on the table and the Cowboys deal is sweet and Daivs would like to return to Texas and play in a warm weather city but Dallas wants him to kick inside to guard which diminishes his value.

With Jenson and Samuels he's gonna play inside with the Commanders.

I honestly wish I had seen him more at guard. I have only paid attention to him at tackle. All I know is that he is not a good tackle.
