No decent healthy MLB says they are in a boat load of hurt. I was surprised they didn't go after Sean Lee considering Antonio Pierce is injured.

Can't say I'm overly impressed with the LB core

Fyi...Antonio Pierce was cut:laugh2:

Antonio Pierce is probably more of a loss than most would think for the Giants. Sure he was never a great player himself and he didn't put up great numbers, but he was a serviceable coverage guy and run stopper and read plays well.

That last part is the most important bit. Who do they have who can read plays now?

Pierce was their defensive QB and I think he was a very good player. When he got injured their defense got a hell of a lot worse.

They released AP

The Giants wanted Lee. Their boards were rather animated when we picked him :D

I thought there was a thread here pointing to one of their boards showing some of them really angry that we got Lee and they were getting D-Line guys but could not remember correctly.

Linebackers?

We don't need no stinking Linebackers.

They are big on the kid they drafted from Nebraska....Phillip Dilliard...He
is supposed to be a tackling machine and very athletic....

"Average functional power as a tackler and does not consistently get good shots on ball carriers. A bit stiff in the hips, which limits his ability to change direction and make plays in space. Does not show the ability to jump underneath routes in zone and does not stick with more athletic backs and tight ends in man."

Yep, we're going to have a field day busting holes in the center of their line.
