I hope we can get better pressure on Eli or Beckham could have a big day. Isnt Prince whatshisname out for the year?

Amukamura I think...yes, done for the year. Cromartie is hanging on for dear life and I think he is the last man standing besides Antrele Rolle, who has just recently made the brash prediction that the Giants will run the table. I don't quite see it that way, although it is undoubtedly a ploy to stoke up his teammates. The Giants have just lost too much talent...their boat has been on fire for quite a while now. What eventually makes it to shore won't be in much shape do battle.

RT Jordan Pugh
DT Cullen Jenkins

Both out

Two key losses...Pugh more than anything...judging by the tape on Crawford, Pugh himself could barely handle Crawford's quickness. He will likely be sorely missed.

Yes they're key losses. I'm curious to see how we gameplan against that line.

Coughlin is coaching for his coaching life. I expect him to coach way different this game... take chances, nothing to lose mentality. If we get an early lead we will have no problem building on it. A giants team that lingers in this game could be dangers late in the game.

Ummmmm, no. He, like Eli, bought himself unlimited time and chances with those two SB wins.

Eli had way to much time to throw last time they met, they need to get in his face early and often.

They were in his face, go back and look at how many balls he either threw in the dirt or just got rid of. I agree that they do need to start getting sacks to go along with pressure.

I see DLaw getting a sack in this game (minimally)

For whatever reason, our defense seems to play NYG better at their place than at Cowboys Stadium. Hopefully that trend continues this season.

Have we played them at our place first and their place second more often than not in recent years? Might have something to do with it.

Yeah I remember the defense pressuring and hurrying Eli. He was frustrated many times throughout the game. Just need to finish and start bringing him down.

Not according to Yard Barker...

It must be November because the Giants head coach and quarterback are on the hot seat, just like clockwork. This time around, however, it’s probably not a media creation. New York has lost five straight games, a losing streak that would hit ugly proportions if the Cowboys come in and beat them on Sunday night. At that point, with the team sitting at 3-8, there are going to be a lot of people screaming for changes in the Big Apple.

Giants second round pick this year, Weston Richburg, is going to be benched for this game.

Even Pugh being out isnt that big of a deal. He has been terrible as well.

People can talk all they want about our GM, but Jerry Reese has been about as poor of a drafter as you could find anywhere in the league over the past few years.

I don't know who Yard Barker is but he/she/they just isn't/aren't dealing in reality. Tom Coughlin will retire on his terms at some point, maybe this year, maybe next, maybe five years from now. He will not be fired.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm sick of watching our division foes knocking Romo around or out for the season, while it feels like we rarely touch their QBs.

Now, I would never wish for a serious injury to the other guys, but I would like to see our defense deliver a few slobber-knockers to divisional QBs beginning with Eli.

Need to watch out for Giants cheap shots. They have a history of injuring our players...

People can talk all they want about our GM, but Jerry Reese has been about as poor of a drafter as you could find anywhere in the league over the past few years.

The Giants have been flat out awful drafting since Reese got there. This is from Dan Graziano at ESPN:

Todd Archer: How much of this Giants mess is on GM Jerry Reese? They have let guys go and not had replacements ready, especially on the offensive and defensive lines.

Graziano: I think it's almost all on Reese, Todd, and you've hit it right on the head. His drafts have been flat-out terrible from the standpoint of finding players who have turned out to be foundation pieces. Do you know that, since Reese became Giants GM in 2007, only three of his draft picks have signed second contracts with the team? And none of those three was a first-rounder? (They're Will Beatty, Ahmad Bradshaw and Zak DeOssie.) You're right that the Giants haven't done a good enough job of finding and developing players to replace those who have left, and the result was that last year's roster got so hollowed out that they had to sign more free agents than any other team in the league just to fill out a 53-man roster. That's why I say this is a rebuilding project that has to take more than one year, and why I blame Reese much more than I blame Coughlin or the coaching staff for the mess this team is in. The Giants don't fire GMs as a matter of policy. They've had only three of them in the past 38 years. But as I said when we were talking about Coughlin, if things get really ugly over these final six weeks, all bets are off.

From 2010 on though, the Cowboys have been knocking their drafts out of the park:

Dez Bryant 1st
Sean Lee 2nd
Tyron Smith 1st
Bruce Carter 2nd
Demarco Murray 3rd
Dwayne Harris 6th
Tyrone Crawford 3rd
Travis Frederick 1st
Gavin Escobar 2nd
Terrance Williams 3rd
JJ Wilcox 3rd
Joseph Randle 5th
Zack Martin 1st
DeMarcus Lawrence 2nd
Anthony Hitchens 4th

That is just in the draft. Not including UDFA's like Ron Leary or Cole Beasley.

Reese did find Victor Cruz as an UDFA, but his record is still horrid.

We should wear down Hankins. I thought he'd play by now.

I think Hankins has been playing for them... and playing pretty well. Are you talking about last year's second round pick for them, Jonathan Hankins from Ohio State? If so, he has been pretty good (a good 2nd round pick by Reese).
