Giants on offense

Looking at Dallas' defense and the Giants' current problem at LT, if I were the Giants, I would stick with a few basic isolation plays trying to test Dallas' ILBs in coverage by having the TE chip Ware then release while the back releases to that side.

I'd also test Church with a slot on the right while the TE doubles Ware. If Sensabaugh goes right, then drive the TE up the field with the RB helping on Ware.

Scandrick on Cruz is a matchup I'd be looking for.

I would not test Claiborne early, there's just not enough tape on him.

Scandrick vs. anyone on the Giants makes me nervous. Eli LOVES him

I expect Carr to be on Cruz especially on 3rd downs. Cruz makes his money by moving the chains on 3rd downs. We have to take him away. I think Rueben Randle has potential, but him along with Ramses Barden are unproven.

I'm expecting them to attack the Cowboys interior run DL with Wilson. Particularly with Lissemore and Bruce Carter playing extended snaps.

I'm also expecting a whole lot of Cruz on Scandrick in the slot. If it's not broke, don't fix it. I also think the Hakeem Nicks foot issue is under reported. I know Coughlin wouldn't sit him all week from practice, after he's missed almost the entire offseason, unless it's really giving him problems. He'll probably get a pain injection to fight through the soreness, but I think that's going to hinder his feel for cutting and planting. I also question if you wants someone's foot to be deadened when they're coming back from a Jones Fracture, which carrries such high incidence of complications and re-injury.

This also brings up the Giant's 3rd WR issues, because Gillbride's offense is inordinately dependent on WRs making in route adjustments and knowing the offense like the back of their hand.

I agree with both of these. Cruz on Scandrick even with help up top will move the chains for them. Wilson's got impressive balance. I think he's going to be a big playmaker for them.

I'd test Claiborne with a double-move in the first offensive series and see how he handles it, too.

The first two possessions for each team will be feeling each other out via formations and looking to see what the response is. With that said, I think the Gmen will look for the short passing game and running off tackle to get started along with a shot or two down the field.

Each team knows each other very well but there are sure to be some wrinkles in there. Should be fun to watch.

If Dan Conner is on the field, then we know Eli will be throwing to his TE.

I would test Claiborne.....mainly with double moves and stutter moves.....

If we bring heat, the play might take to long to develop. If we don't get there, we could be in trouble.

There is no LB for Eli to pick on, he will take his chances with he Slot, or Claiborne.

They'll definitely do that. But the amount of damage they can do on a TE drag route is limited. If Bennett manages to catch it, they could extend a drive with it, though.

yeah they also used wilson out the backfield alot even running deep routes:( He could be a problem. Wilson is almost murray like when I seen him in preseason. He can take hits and keep going. Hope our guys wrap up. Safe tackles:laugh2:
