Giants or Eagles?

Obviously a divisional game, but how do you think we benefit most from the outcome? Personally, I'd like to see the Eagles lose this one, due to the fact we're already one up on the Giants and considering our recent struggles against the Eagles.

Thoughts?

The Eagles are less of a threat, so I'd prefer they win.

We want the Giants to win, for two reasons. One, we've already beaten them. Second, Philadelphia is an inherently bad matchup for us because we don't handle their speed on both sides of the ball very well.

Yeah, can't argue with that, though it's early in the year and things can change. I will root for humiliating injuries and a suspension or two. :)

It really doesn't matter who wins because if the Cowboys take of business they will be tied at 3-1 with the winner Tuesday morning

I think the Eagles are more dangerous and it hurts us more if they win. We've already beaten the Giants so even if they win and we win then it's not as bad. And if we lose it would be even worse if the Eagles win.

I tend to agree with everyone so far for the same reasons....
also, I will always hate philthy more than the NYG no matter what the NYG do. Philthy is a disgusting city, with classless, disgusting fans, and a disgusting QB and WR.
Also, I'm sure Ron "dogkilla" Mexico will pull it together and have decent games against us even if he keeps sucking all season. We usually have that effect on bad QBs.

They weren't much of a threat last year and they dominated us in both games, especially the SNF game. It wasn't even close. We match up much better with the Giants than Eagles.

And that annoys the hell out of me which is why I want the Giants to beat the **** out of them tonight

Cowboys should match up better with the new cbs and Carter on the inside.

You do realize we have a much better and quick defense than last year right? I don't see Philly as much of a threat so I hope they win.

giants all the way

1) we have already beaten the giants and the next game is at home (so hopefully greater chance of success)

2) i know eagles are a mess but i still think they are the bigger threat because of their team speed and very very good defense

No we wouldn't be tied with the Giants we would be over them since we've beaten them.

Yeah, you have to look at it week by week. We should want the Giants to win because (if we beat Chicago) we will own the tie breaker. It's all about being first place.

Our defense is better, but not necessarily faster. Outside of Bruce Carter playing more snaps than a year ago the defense didn't add much speed. And as Tampa Bay showed, our offensive line still can't handle small, quick front sevens.

Whatever, they will have the same record as the winner. Too damm early to talk tiebreakers

Agreed.

I'm interested in seeing what McCray brings to the table outside of special teams play and what package he falls into with Carr switching between CB and S. Retaining Jenkins was a Godsend.

Important game going into the bye week.
