I still havent decided who to root fot.

Basically a question of whether you think Dallas is a WC caliber team or division winner caliber.

The Giants will beat Philly, but I hope Philly beats the Giants. That way, when we beat Philly, the Giants will be shakin' in their boots when we roll into town for round 2.

Saints and Vikings over the Pack and Falcons, who cares about the Giants and Eagles right now because it's still to soon.

because our last 5 games are to brutal.....I am looking at Dallas as a wild card team. So you want the teams that appear to be the best in the division, New Orleans and Minnesota.....to keep winning. As far as the NYG and Phi are concerned, it is to early to tell. As of today, it looks like Dallas is just as good as them if not better. We had the jitters playing the Giants with the first game at the stadium etc....and STILL was winning when we gave them the ball back with 3 mins to go. Did I mention it was 2nd and 18 from the Giants 15? Not convinced the Giants are better than us. Phi is in our heads...and it has been that way for a while.

Giants/Eagles, I'd say the Giants. Dallas can still pass the Giants with a win in NY, though I don't expect either team to win all their other games. I'd rather see Philly done by season's end. Even though the finale is in Dallas this year, I don't want them to have anything to play for.

New Orleans/Atlanta, I'd say root for NO. I don't think Dallas will win in NO, so I don't have much hope of passing them for homefield advantage or anything.

I'm against that, but he'll probably play against the Cowboys too!

PT

I'm not sure about the non-NFC East games, but I'm inclined to have the teams with worse records win. I see us as a potential division winner and would love to have an opportunity for home playoff games.

I want the Eagles to win. That will give the Giants 3 losses. Then (assuming we beat Seattle) we will be playing Philly for 1st place. If we win that, we control our own destiny. I'm not ready to settle for a wildcard and, looking at how the Eagles and Giants have played recently, I believe most Cowboys fans shouldn't either.

I second the part in bold. Why should we concede anything at this point? The division is up for grabs and Dallas has just as good a chance as NY or Philly. We should be rooting for Green Bay, Atlanta and Philly this weekend. Either way, if the Cowboys take care of business against Seattle, we will be in good shape heading into Philly next Sunday Night.

Agree.

I want the Giants to lose 3 in a row. That would be nice.

Im a big Favre fan but i'll be rooting for Green Bay. I still want that 1st round bye and right now the Vikings and Saints look like they will be the favorites.

I'm with you mama. Not ready to concede a dam thing. Nothing! Hell I'm still looking for us to not only win the East, but to also secure a first round bye.

At this point I'm still hoping for NO and Min to lose a few.

Deciding whom to pull for in the Giants Eagles game is tough. My general rule of thumb is to pull for the home team to reduce the odds of someone gettin a sweep.
At this point, a spilt is still something that would appear to be most beneficial to the Cowboys.

It would be nice to see the Eagles lose prior to playing us there by shaking their collective confidence. Of course it could also cause them to circle the wagons and put forth their best effort the folling week against us.

But a loss to both the Giants and us at home would go a long way toward knocking them out of contention and that would be a good thing for us in week 17.

I'll go with an eagles, packers and falcons win.

Look at it this way Dallas plays the Saints so there is the oppertunity.

As for the Giants/Philly seeing NY come under fire after losing 3 in a row would be sweet but also since we face Philly next week I would rather get them after a win than coming off a loss

I think Reid's just saying that so the Giants game plan for him.

Seriously, they'd be incredibly stupid to let him play.

Furthermore, given what's going on with brain injuries being in the news and hearings at Congress, I think it's ridiculous to even say that they haven't ruled him out yet.

...well the most important piece of the Giants secondary won't be there when Dallas goes to the Meadowlands, namely Kenny Phillips [IR], which has been a HUGE loss for them...Boley is probably their fastest LB but he's been battling injury himself...they are going to have to find a way to stablize the secondary somehow because their pass rush is looking rather impotent over the last two games...Canty should return soon though i'm not sure how much it will utimately help them...they must've been terrified playing the Saints and it showed...you can blitz but as Miami found out, it only works for so long before a sub-par secondary gets exposed...NYG vs. PHI will definitely be interesting...without Westbrook i give the nod to the Giants but if he's playing i'd call it a toss up...

...that said, the Giants need this game more because a third consecutive loss will bring some serious discontent as NY will have dropped to third place in the division after a 5-0 start, assuming Dallas takes care of Seattle...the knives will come out...

I can't believe we were willing to concede anything at 3-2, either, for that matter. People forget how long seasons are.

I don't care much about the Falcon/Saints game, I obviously think Saints will absolutely CRUSH them though.

I'm cheering for Vikings, because if Dallas doesn't make it this season, Vikings will receive my Cheer-leading, because I love the Brett Favre Saga, and would love to see the old man win another SB so long as it's not at the expense of Dallas.

Giants losing 3 in a row would bet SWEEET. I hope to see Eli get another 2-3 delay of game penalties while trying to emulate his brother, and throw another 2 picks to prove HE IS WHAT WE THOUGHT HE WAS.

Giants secondary has huge problems, and I think we will crush them easily if the team that played the Falcons last week shows up to the next Giants game.

That is probably good for us, I am sure he will get injured again and miss our game.

I am rooting for NO, MINN and NYG. If we dont win the division we are going to need some of the second place teams in the NFC to fade, GB and Atlanta could be two of them. The Giants remaining schedule is pretty tough, a win here would probably be ok for us since I believe we will beat them next time we face them, where as the Eagles always seem to give us fits.

I think that I am encouraged by the holes in both the Giants and Eagles teams right now. I thought we had no shot for the division, but I am starting to change my mind. Those losses to the Raiders and Cardinals helped get us "back in the game." Wish we were scheduled to play the Skins soon. We need to beat the teams we are supposed to beat. That is Seattle for sure.
