Giants release WR Kenny Golladay

He hit the lotto in NY, crazy how in the NFL money get's thrown around like that...

Lol I wonder if they would like to move back to St. Louis or if they would like to go somewhere new this time.
Rams owner Stan Kroenke privately funded their new stadium in LA. They're not going anywhere.

And the fans that claim that they would like it if the Cowboys did what the Rams did and say it was worth it are lying and when 10 years go by and the Rams still suck, they will quickly change their minds.
Speak for yourself. I don't know if I'll be around 10 years from now and would like to experience another Cowboys SB win before I check out.

Ohhhhhhhh, I wish I was Kenny Golladay,
Then every blessed day would be a holiday.
Now all the Giants fans will say,
We got nothing for all that pay.
Things really went Kenny's way.
Oh, I wish I was Kenny Golladay

Maybe they win in 2023.

Or Prescott, hater.

He's got 4.5 million coming this year from the Giants. He goes to Dallas for 2-3 million and he's getting 7 million this year to win a Super Bowl.
You guaranteeing it ? LOL

Crazy how his time in NY ended up. I thought he was going to be a great signing for them (I'm sure they did too lol).

Have we not learned, you brutes, tha building a team with castoffs is a sign of decay and fealty to mediocrity?
Sort of like the past 27 years.

But let us speculate and salivate about average players who are castoffs for cap and performance issues. :(

Soiled lads, this team has to move beyond cheap, quick fixes that are, at best, a sign of inept desperation.
Oh, this type of speculation miffs and peeves me no end, chaps.

You're a more optimistic person than I. The Jones boys have been playing front office together for 28 years (Stephen's promotion to Director of Player Personnel) and haven't gotten beyond the divisional round. I can count their playoff wins on one hand. They're suddenly going to put it all together in year 28?

I just can't muster that kind of confidence in this team anymore. I hope they prove me wrong.

I just go by the present and presently they are one of the teams at the top of the NFC which gives them a chance.

They're 1-2 in the playoffs the last two years. The QB failed them in both losses and he'll be the QB next season. At best we'll get a similar result.

They lost by one score on the road. They have as good a chance as any team. The qb can play well like he did in the 1s playoff game. At best, they win.

Whatever you need to tell yourself. It's obvious neither of us is going to change the other's opinion. I'll believe this team can do it when they do it.

I don't need to tell myself anything.

I cleary expect them to sign OBJ.
The Giants? They'd certainly be more apt to pay him what he wants.

OBJ believes he's worth his weight in gold. The Joneses believe he's worth his weight in pennies.

The Lions probably compared him to Herman Moore, who he reminds me of..

Not sure why he didn't fit in in NY but you kinda wonder if he'd be worth a look to try to save his career.

I'd be down with giving him a James Washington type deal.

Golliday actually does have talent. For some reason he and the new staff didn’t mesh
I am leery of Lions WR from the pre-Campbell era, too many seem to get decent deals with new teams only to find out they suffered from inflated stats from garbage time blow outs. Outside of Megatron I think most ex-Detoit WR of the last 20 years are fools gold.
