Everyone, who dislikes the cowboys, is talking about the D looking great against the Giants without ODB.

However The WRs last night were not really what surprised me. I kind of figured they would struggle some with him in the line up.

I was not shocked by the Oline play in pass protection.

What really shocked me was the running game by the giants...or should I say lack of a running game.

There were times where it seemed like they did not even think they had a running game or even tried running the ball.

I cant remember the poster who was trying to convince me about the Giants run game during the "predict the outcome" thread. Something about 3 talented backs and bla bla bla. Vereen is the only threat I worry about in the SCREEN game. They couldnt run the ball last year and they havent improved to run it this year. The Giants are one dimensional with an awesome defense. But as we saw last night that defense can be worn down.

And Eli did not have that crazy throw that no WR should catch but still does that seems to happen once or twice a game. For once we had it with Beasley lol.

It seemed to me by the second half they abandoned it in favor of screens. They only ran the ball 11 times for the game.

I was listening to 105.3 interview Cross (randy or Howard?) and he went full homer telling the Dallas guys OBJ not playing would make no difference LOL! Nothing better than slapping the cockiness out of that team.

For real! Ive argued for years Eli is the biggest chucker in the nfl and his wrs make historically great catches. That Beasley catch had me shouting lol

It wasn't surprising to me. They couldn't run the ball last year and sucked all preseason. I would have been shocked if they had run on us.

You mean that eyes closed lame duck heave he throws up that his receiver somehow always seems to inexplicably catch?

I was surprised they couldn't run the ball. Mcadoo talked all summer about two tight ends and a fullback. It didn't work.

I thought they would run the ball effectively and set up easy third downs.
