Please somebody break it down in layman's terms how it's feasible for the Giants to break the bank on JPP and sign Marshall a year after signing $200M in defensive improvements. That franchise is doing for Eli what we should have done for Romo in his latter years. They're going all out to get one more Super Bowl for Eli before he retires. Elite Defense, now they can focus their entire draft on offense.

Meanwhile our Boys are stuck yet another offseason shopping at Ross...the clearance rack in the corner with the XXXXL Tommy Hilfiger shirts. Is this something we're just going to have to get used to if we want to pay top dollar for oline? Cap Experts break it down for me, what has to come off the books for us to be competitive in FA again?

If you look a bit closer, you can see that the Giants have not paid anything towards their offense and they have a massive bill coming due between Pugh/Richburg and Beckham. Not to mention they still have not retained Hankins.

I'm not saying it's not a good strategy for their situation but seeing as they do not have a replacement for Eli and how much they have invested into defense, they aren't going to be a problem in the near future.

And the Giants have shopped at the Family Dollar for their offensive line and running back. How is this helping Eli? Maybe he finally gets crushed and misses games and Geno Smith comes in. The Giants better hope that their defense holds opposing offenses to 14 points or less or else they won't win much.

Depends on your area, but here Ross/Goodwill are pretty sweet.

Obviously most is garbage but i basically get my business casual pants there, i have 100$ slacks that were 9$.

Can usually find 1-2 shirts per stop, i have all kinds of fitted button downs that were under 10 bucks.

You go to Nordstrom's for the hard to find's, not the casual fillers.

Cowboys fans jealousy over the Giants spending spree on defense is just pathetic. All teams have the same cap to deal with, the Cowboys just choose to spend their money elsewhere. Maybe we will see some spending on the defense before the season starts, who knows?

Eli hasn't missed a game in his career.

My concern is they've set themselves up nicely where they can focus like a laser beam on improving their oline and running game in the draft.

Nordstrom's is at the low end of upscale retail.

If you are looking for grossly overpriced you are better served at Saks, Neiman Marcus, or Barneys. That would also be the better comparison.

Style points don't win games in the NFL.
