Correct, ... Rutgers wore all black for the first time against the WV Mountaineers, and we drilled them 31-3 or something.

I have to admit, I like their red jersey.

But good. We can avenge that game when Gurode fricked up the protection and Bledsoe fumbled for an easy Gints TD.

They look like a cheap replica jersey you'd pick up at Walmart.

I find it pretty stupid for a team that calls themselves "Big Blue" to wear red, even for 1 game per year... but that's just me.

It's a bad look, much like when the Rangers wore red tops during the late 80's.

Red is an accent color for the Giants. It should remain an accent on their uni's.

Picture that...a team who uses the moniker "Big Blue" wearing bright red jerseys! I told one of my coworkers (a NYLG fan) last night that the Little Giants should wear red so that all the blood they'll lose won't show as much, so you know I had a big laugh when I saw this thread! :laugh2: :suxjints:

Interesting thread.

The Giant players have asked all fans going to the game to wear red also. They want a sea of red. They will also be handing out red towels to wave, along with asking the fans to be excited and loud.

Only against Dallas....I love the way teams try to prepare to face the Cowboys.

Last week it was the "Rally around the Reid Family Issues" cause with Buddy Ryan making a "pump me up" appearance.

This week it's the "Sea of Red".

Now, 3 of the last 4 WS champs have worn red, could have been 4, but the Astros lost to the White Sox. Red Sox twice and Cardinals

In Basketball the Heat won two years ago and the Bulls and Rockets owned the 90s.

In the NFL, Red does not rule. The Niners do have 5 Lombardis and the Skins have 3, however neither has done anything of significance since 94. Oops, I forgot the Bucs did finally win the SB when they went to red uniforms.

Lets counter their red with our blue.......
