I've seen non contact injuries before that that was ridiculous last night. Hearing the tv talking heads today apparently other visiting players have been hurt in recent games at Met Life. Glad we were able to get out of dodge unhurt. It was weird though on that D-Law play how his toes didn't seem to give bending the top of his foot back a a bit. Glad he is ok. I hope they fix this field before next year.

Law banged his toe against one of the Giants linemen. Like stubbing your toe against the wall. I think the reason why Gallup did not play was because of the Giants turf.

Yeah, they can get the turf replaced and they'll give them another outdoor early Feb. SB. Bad stadium, bad field, intolerable site for a winter SB.

In the replay I saw his foot dragging on the turf and the top half of it caught up for a second or two

It's kind of hard to believe there can still be bad turf and good turf. Why is there no standard? Why is there no official "turf" of the NFL. They have an official pizza, for Pete's sake.

After all the horrific non-contact injuries from Astroturf, the NFL should have really invested in making synthetic grass of their own.

The NFLPA should demand that for the next CBA, but I doubt it would gain any traction. While multiple players suffer non-contact injuries, the cost and likelihood probably don't align to get the wheels turning.

I was on that field a couple months ago, it's a terrible playing surface. It's hard and firm, with very little give when running.
