Giants turning it around

A lot of people think the Eagles will easily beat the Giants. I don't think that is the case.

That team is slowly but surely turning the corner, and I'm sure they want to play spoiler for Philly after getting shut out.

The rise of ODB has definitely changed things for that team. The Giants may really help us out.

We still need to just win out though.

They are definitely playing better. But as I noted elsewhere I still wish they were playing Philly in Week 16. There's just too much let down for teams playing out the string when they have cruise/vacation tickets in the glove box.

I believe if the OL for the Giants can give Eli time then they can have a shot. That's a big IF because their OL is in shambles and the Eagles DL is really really good.

I hope you are wrong but he looks like the real deal. Getting Cruz back next year will also help them. I hope this offseason we really address our pass rush as well as secondary. Were gonna need it.

If we don't shore up our secondary (amongst other defensive needs), he'll kill us twice a year. I imagine other teams in our division think the same thing about Dez, though.

Giants are an up and down team, mostly down this year but at times looks like a contender, when Eli gets hot they can put up points and Odell Beckham looks outstanding. They are capable of beating Philly and that secondary

Yeah but I'd feel a little more hopeful if it wasn't the season finale. The Eagles will be playing for their season. The Giants have nothing to play for but pride. They're about to start their offseason. That's a big factor.

true, if in that game NY can hang around early I think they have a chance however if Philly jumps on them early I think the likelihood is NY packing it in.

That's probably what's going to happen. Especially if we drop a game to the Colts.

Now, if the game isn't meaningful for either, or if PHIs chances at the postseason are really diminished, I could see relaxed Giants team that hates the Eagles jumping up against that terrible pass defense and biting them. It'd be fun to see, anyway. The Giants owe them big from that beating they took early in the year.

True, the danger is when these non playoff teams are able to hang around and see they have a chance to win then they can become a handful to deal with. Jump on a bad team early and they start thinking of vacation and the off season.
