It's always a crapshoot with drafting a QB. You never know.

If drafting were an exact science we wouldn't see so many busts.
There are countless QB's drafted in the 1st two rounds who turn out to be nothing more than journeyman players, IF THAT.
Then you have guys drafted later who turn out to be studs. Granted, those are anomalies.
Point being, drafting a QB high does NOT guarantee success. In fact, it oftentimes sets teams back because even though the player doesn't produce, the team remains committed because of the investment, thus hurting the franchise further.
