just going by trends. the main differences from last year is that a game manager lost his first option while the qb that is actually the offense for the other lost his second option. only way dallas loses is with another terrible effort by the defense or offensive line.

i guess you could also argue that it's the giants' defense and running game that wins the games anyways, so the loss of burress may not do much.

If we stop the run or are even average vs the run, I think we'll win pretty easy.

I'm going with 31-17. I dont think their secondary can contain our passing game. They'll be missing Ross and I think I read both safeties are hurting. Also missing a couple guys in the DL.

I know Eli has been wildly inconsistent in his three years as a starter but he has shown a preternatural calmness and ability to come through in high pressure situations.
Romo on the other hand has been great during the regular season and choked big time in his two playoff appearances. And Romo has done so with an O-line and receiver corps that is far and away better than what Eli has had to work with. I would take Eli until Romo shows some spine in a tough spot. Right now he looks like a front runner who plays great when things are going well but who shrinks in the face of adversity.
