...except the first person who should write himself a pink slip.out for blood like a 1 pound kitten
giants are nothing lol
and if cowboys lose to them they should just trade every one and fire every one
Blood? They are tanking for the #1 pick. The Giants are coming to town and that means one thing. We need to win! I’ll never forget the day twenty years ago when I attended a Cowboys game and a dirty Giants fan started a fight with me and we ended up in a brawl in the parking area after the game!!!!!! I believe that was the game we lost 37-7 in an absolute embarrassment of a football game!!! It was the one time I went home after a football game with a bloody lip but it showed my scars of war. I hope we blowout the Giants. I want us to beat these guys down!!!! The Giants will be out for blood. Division games are always tough but let’s do our business and go to war!
Someone needed an excuse to post a thread about how they got drunk and belligerent at a football game, and then some 12 year old girl kicked their ***The Giants are coming to town and that means one thing. One of the most embarrassing Cowboys moments ever, and Im just hearing about it now
Lol it would be a disaster if we lost this game.

Yeah, that's the thing. I don't know why it's so hard for MacMan and JJ to see that we can't just hammer Pollard up the middle all game long. He's not that kind of back. We needed JJ to shop the free market for a bruiser back like Robert Newhouse or Calvin Hill. Yes, I know you won't find those guys in free agency, but there had to have been a RB in free agency that could have helped us. So we sign a wide receiver who hasn't played since 2018? I hope that guy can help us make plays, but I thought we needed a bruiser-RB. We got rid of Zeke, who was our bruiser, granted, his skillset is on its way down. And is mostly down already. He's a shell of his former self, but he was still good for short yardage. Okay, so cutting him made sense, but if you jettison your bruiser, you have to do something to replace him, even if it's just signing a competent rent-a-player free agent for a year. They have nothing to lose. Playbook will be open with a new young qb. That will be running for his life if they bring the same line they had the last time to defend their qb. If we won last week I would say maybe our Defense takes the week off and Dak takes it light. We should pissed and taking it out on giants. But what I did not like hearing after our loss was that they gained confidence. Some player said they gained something from a loss that had fundamental mistakes. Mistakes they should not be making in regular season with your starting O-Line. I blame O-Line coach for this BS.
BULL SMOKE… How could you say that when you know the reasons you lost. Steele could not block and needed help. Did he get it. Dak was sacked 5 times and most was not him standing there. MM never told got Steele help. Reminded me of chaz almost. Jumping offsides penalties and holding when we finally start making statement runs and delay of game at the 1 yard line. Because a player did not get the playcall. And showed up late to what should have been a TD play to win the game.
Yeah the refs helped at the end by turning a blind eye to that late hit or forearm smash to Daks head during that sack. That would have been called about every time. The big stop that egirls are likely celebrating when they know their defender started tackling the guy way before the guy got the ball. If it was on the other foot then I would not care either. But for sure I would not say much about it. Don’t brag that your guy got away with something most teams including your own would not normally get away with.
Best thing JJ or if MM was allowed to do is call someone like Colombo (that MM would not even talk to when he was let go) or find a power blocking O-Line coach to come in and make the simple changes to the scheme that lets these guys get more aggressive. We need some freaking anger on that O-Line. They sit there on some plays and just try to block long enough on passing downs. They aren’t in their lanes or assignments or have no heart or no aggression.
Maybe part of it is that JJ is making or telling MM to use Pollard as that lead back. Put him in bell cow up the middle and wear a defense down. And then expecting Pollard to also do his thing. Pollard can’t do his thing as a lead back but JJ is paying him as one. And JJ is in charge. Did anyone notice when other RB like Dowdle got involved that the run game picked up. Not saying it was him by himself but the change made a change in the O-Line blocking and energy in the game… Dowdle with 2 runs for 8 yards but on one drive we were using a different RB and had a spark. The someone had a good run and a penalty to bring it back and was back to the same old same old.
Does Lupke suck that bad at hitting holes or running or breaking tackles. He had 1 run from 4 yards in the red zone and got a TD. But has been so quiet.
Get a spark or replacements on this O-Line. Including perhaps a different O-Line coach.
Pollard was never that kind of back. He got 15 or whatever with Elliot paving the way and saying he is done and RB coach letting people know that. For some years he got to come in look good after Elliot pounded inside and players were not so willing to stick a hand or neck in there to make a tackle. JJ did not want to pay Elliot what he got from pats. Instead takes a chance paying Pollard like 10 million dollars after a pretty major injury. That really makes me think. They knew Elliot was declining. He played with injuries the last 2 years and still is not the same. It’s a big drop from 3 years ago.Yeah, that's the thing. I don't know why it's so hard for MacMan and JJ to see that we can't just hammer Pollard up the middle all game long. He's not that kind of back. We needed JJ to shop the free market for a bruiser back like Robert Newhouse or Calvin Hill. ...
Too late to trade now! So I'd guess Dowdle or Lupke need to be our bruisers. Maybe they can be. MacMan knows these guys better than we do. Against the Giants, I don't think this team will be desperate for those smash-mouth yards, but the Giants aren't a good team. Still, we'll need the smash-mouth yards when we inevitably meet better teams. I guess we'll see. Is this going to come down to a 4th and 1 and down by 4 points in a playoff game, and it's up to Dowdle, Lupke, and the O-line to get us that one precious yard to keep the season alive? Or do you just bring in multiple tight ends and do a QB draw?
...
If it's 4th and 1, and get it or your season's over, maybe the line smashes a nice hole, and Dowdle or Lupke rams through to keep the season alive. Or maybe Pollard gets it if we haven't worn him out. Or maybe Dak does great with the QB-draw. I wish I could say that I have superb confidence that we prevail in that scenario, but I don't. I will not be placing bets in Vegas on this team doing great in short yardage situations. Do I know for a fact that this team won't prevail in that situation? Of course not. I'm just a fan, and I'm not an expert whom people pay money for his views. I'm just a guy who's rooted for the Cowboys for decades and has seen a lot. So it's possible I'm wrong. Maybe the guys we already have will go out and kick-butt in short yardage situations. They're going to need to see what we have in these guys. If they try to run Pollard 30 carries a game, his wheels will come off. He's not that kind of a back.
