How quickly the tide shifts, are we going to hear that they haven't beaten anybody yet and the first 2 games they have to show something they don't step up? Yes I know they did beat us but.....we gave that game away. I know....excuses, but we did.
What are the NFC east standings now??? If the deadskins could just step up tomorrow.....

they have the same amount of quality wins as us.

My point is, will the media attack them like they do us az much as they were loving them the first four weeks.

dont mean to hijack thread....will consider it a NFL East thread...

Collingsworth reported after game that Skin LT C.Samuels out for year......
hate to see that, but part of sports
condolences to Mr. Samuels......

Anyone think the Skins can win tomorrow? Are they starting Campbell?

Skins can win - Eagles have lost to raiders so eagles can lose to anybody.

yes, but skins lost to Lions AND KC....eagles have to implode, which would be awesome to watch!

I'm torn in regards to the game tomorrow night. Of course, a Foreskin win would benefit us the most since I don't think the Skins pose any threat to us. However, I find it almost impossible to pull for the Skins in any game. On the flip side, I think I hate Philly more than any team in the league. Decisions, decisions. If the game ends in a tie and both teams look like crap, that would be just too good to be true.

and have Philly screw us by tie-ing? no thanks. Fuglies, wrinkly skins FTW.

This is the NFL where everyone is beatable, just ask the Eagles. NO defense is suspect if Miami put up 34 on them.

Here's the thing: Say what you want about the Giants, they play clean disciplined football. Honestly, there are not many teams that could beat the Cowboys if they played like the Giants do, and got the most out of their talent as opposed to only playing well enough to squeak out victories, today's game being the lone exception for the year.

Do I belive there is a media bias? Yes. There has been for several years now. But this season, much of the criticism has been deserved. If the Cowboys can continue to play for four quarters every game as they did for three quarters in today's game, they have a chance to go to the Super Bowl.

As of now

1. Giants 5-2
2. Cowboys 4-2
3. Eagles 3-2
4. Commanders 2-4

Giants have a game & a half lead over us ( due to owning the tie-breaker since they beat us )

I think the Giants discussion has major consequences at this point in the season and should be allowed to be debated in the main forum.

I seem to remember delay of game, offside and false start penalties by the Giants in tonights game at very critical moments. They have lost 2 in a row now.
The fact is we did give that game away to the Giants earlier in the year.
We rushed for over 250 yds that game and still lost...but all you would hear the next day is how great the Giants are. The Giants have the best defense...yatta,yatta...yatta. The New York media machine produces more hype and BS about thier teams every year.
All the Dallas media wants is to focus on the negative about the Cowboys.
It's just the way it is.
But we won and the New York media and chew on that for a while. :laugh2:

Hopefully they can take their clean disciplined football and extend to a 3 game losing streak.

Did you miss today's game. We didn't squeak out nothing. We were in control midway through the 2nd quarter.

Speaking of clean disciplined football:

Dallas has 79 penalties in 6 games = 13 per game
Giants has 74 penalties in 7 games = 10 per game

And we had to play through some BS most penalty calling officiating crew in KC. Should be around the same give us until their bye.

Eli Manning 6 INTs 4 Fumbles (3 lost)
Tony Romo 3 INTs 3 Fumbles (2 lost)

I forget who it was, I think Dilfer...said on Sportscenter that the Giants are a team who "fattened themselves against weak teams" and haven't beaten anybody good.

Not really biased against them, just stating fact.

tiebreaker is meaningless now though since we play each other again.
